The punters liked this one too and by now we were on a return ticket to the top. It's hard to believe that the band that 2 years prior had released a song as unlistenable as Hey, It's Only My Virile Suit was now pumping out 3 minute mosh friendly pop like this track. Did we sell out? We were always too dumb for anything that calculated. We were 4 guys who thought our first demo would sell 10 million copies and the strain of subsequent failure ensured that our perspective was shot. We had to remix this song at the behest of the record company so it would, "sound more like Ammonia's 'Drugs'". The demo version of Abuser - an altogether more laid back rendering - is arguably a more successful effort.
