Anthony Jacob as someone who is a drug addict and is very suicidal as in I want to/ plan killing myself everyday and dont know when I’ll do it but do know it will be soon. I can still pretend to be interested in things and follow a conversation intelligently. I think alot of people who struggle with drug addiction and mental illness can hide it. The difference is some people want to keep it a secret for whatever reason. And some don’t care or are basically crying out for help but no one realizes it.

These interviews really show the dynamic well. Just still boggles my mind that less than three months later he put a shotgun in his mouth. It was the worst day ever as a kid for me, given they were my favorite band. Walking home from school and learning about it was just devastating. I saw hole at live 105s green Christmas of 1994 shortly after that. Bad religion and shit also. Losing Nirvana was just terrible.

Nardwuar knows more about every genre of music than anyone i have ever seen. He does the best interviews ever, and he could have been high, i was a heroin addict for two years and was around my family high without them noticing. You kinda pick and choose when you get ridiculous with it and once addicted its easier to hide than you would think to your average person. only others on heroin can tell unless you are experienced

Nardwuar is such a legend for sticking with this catastrophe of an interview. Nard has definitely improved by leagues and leagues as an interviewer bc you can tell he’s really getting on Kurt’s nerves and yet he persists. Hopefully he won him over in the end
