That is incorrect, since prehensile tails are tails that can grab objects, which the Nargacuga cannot. This is a mistake on my part, I adlibbed this word in while recording for some reason. Really hyped for the second season. This series is so good. Also, the illustration of the tailspike for the green nargacuga looks pretty spikey to me while the text says they are blunt. I would imagine them to be more mace-like. IntroFrog/10

I'm guessing the spikey appearance is just the filaments bunching up to maximize impacts. Do kinda wish we got to see a Lucent's tailspike, which I assume would either look somewhat needle-like, or have grooves that the venom travels through via capillary action. But Lucent Nargacuga is a rare species, so be the odd wyvern out in this regard fits just fine. The wait has been well worth it.

Awesome! So glad you're back, and to start off with the elusive Nargacuga is a G-Rank choice! I've always considered this species to be the ninjas of Monster Hunter. Blending into the dark, striking when you least expect it, using the tools it has to attack with swift and deadly accuracy...the tail blades may as well be kunai with varying effects. Green Nargacuga essentially went from black to jungle camo...with a stronger and flexible tail to boot. The Lucent Nargacuga disappearing in the moonlight may as well be natural ninjutsu. Silverwind is a fitting name for the deviant....as it refers to both its beautiful silver fur and the winds its tail creates to slice the enemy in two. It's one of my all-time favorites for a reason....and it's grade: SA for inspiration.

I still think frontier narga is a lucent who doesn't go invisible due to the lack of moonlight and fog. It still has the poison, but alters it's fighting style because it knows it's visible.

Yeah, I didn't know about it until I started research for this video either! As far as I'm aware, it is mentioned a single time, in Hunter's Encyclopedia G pg. 131 (that's also where the drawing of the echolocation process is from)

I actually have a theory about footed Wyvern, they are actually the mid evolution between flying Wyvern and Fanged Wyvern. Or more likely are more closely related to fanged wyvern. Footed Wyvern have wings like flying Wyvern, but they walk on all fours like Fanged wyverns. Plus some flying Wyvern are actually more similar to fanged wyverns, having no wings, robust physical builds, and have remarkable physical strength.

I hope one day nargacuga can be represented to be as awesome and unique in game as he is in lore, cuz he's been on a bit if a downward spiral in my opinion, making him half the size and twice as fast wood be a good start, having him sleeping and dragging kills up trees would be a great touch, let him use his environment and be able to jump of rocks/trees and give him a ambush mechanic and a powerful pin attack that he can mabye do by dropping out the trees, also pls let him have Barioth running animation capcom, and just let him keep Bleed on his tail spikes, and mabye have rare colour morpths you have a chance of running into would be great with blue, purple, white, blonde and hell roll green in there aswell, that and they need to give him turf wars with zinogre, espinas, bird wyverns and monkeys, do all that nargacuga will be complete on my eyes

Yeah, idk why 5 gen narga became so big and slow when literally everyone else got faster, also his tail doesnt extend nearly as long, mostly due to how freakin long it would become on the bigger 5 gen narga but still Then again, tigrex also kinda was shafted so i guess his cousin was too, though barioth improved oddly enough Also make blinking narga canon do it now capcom i dare you

@@cchieffkiefbeff yeah Tigrex suffers the least from being massive cuz he's meant to be the big strong one of the trio but he does look like he can barely survive on Popo sometimes, so I wouldn't mind him getting a small size decrease, I do like some of new. Moves but idk he just doesn't feel as fast/ferice/powerful as he used to be, I miss the freedom Tigrex, I think just making his charging faster and hit harder would be a good start, also capcom pls give Tigrex back his lips, Barioth is definitely at his best in iceborne fight was but I feel rise kinda undid that, but until his head gets a massive redesign I will never be able to take him seriously, his sabers are wayyy to big for his face

@@stormerjc9493 im pretty sure 4 gen is when tigrex got a lot slower, then in iceborne he kinda got slower again. Also frankly his hitboxes are too accurate in that you can literally run under or between his arms when hes charging in rise, also it feels like a lot of the oomph of his attacks died too, except for the tail swipe and sunbreak slam flip the one with the ground shake. When giving new moves to either narga or tiggy, idk they are kinda limited, i guess narga could do zinogre tail flips or flipping while shooting spikes like silverwind or lucent but more like silverwind, because current nargacuga definitely does not sell the acrobatic abilities of narga. Also yes definitely a wall attack or the like. Maybe also a scorned magna style attack too where he drags his tail against the floor in a semi circle to leave spikes in the ground, yes i know most of these are tail attacks but i feel that narga’s tail attacks currently are really bland and limited and especially the quills on his tail. Also give regular narga the iceborne forward tail swipe back, why didnt he get that back in sunbreak

@@cchieffkiefbeff yeah Tigrex needs to get a speed and attack increase and bigger hit boxes to trooly be a threat agein not broken but as you said I should be able to run under him while he's charging, he should be a absolute freight train, that claw slam was a good addition but Tigrex as a whole needs a big buff, he better also get a Gammoth turf war With nargacuga yeah I think he needs a baseline main game facelift as he's come back quite bungled, but I don't think he necessary needs new moves tho I'd glady take that, being able to flip while shooting spikes and back flip tail slams would be great, but I genuinely think he just needs to be half the size and twice as fast and be able to jump of rocks and trees and that would solve 90% of his issues, I will also never stop wanting a ambush mechanic for him, he's literally so perfact for something like that

@@stormerjc9493 Yes brother, the swift wyvern’s biggest requirement is being swift and looking swift so yeah make the man lose a couple pounds already and train him to be Spidey. That’s my new headcanon, all 5th gen Narga’s we fight are actually obese, at least in Rise and Sunbreak because given the lore it seems about correct that New World Narga’s are bigger and stockier. Tiggy is the chunky boi, Narga is the nimble boi and Barioth is the middle child with the middle body, more plates like Tigrex but also more feline and with fur like Narga.
