[Notes/Corrections/Sources] *Notes* - The term "Island District" is a fanmade word used to describe the collection of islands seen in this video. - The World Map seen in this video is a recreation of the canon map we got in Encyclopedia 2, but the exact location of anything after MH Freedom Unite is highly speculative. - The Phylogeny seen in this video is a direct translation of the official phylogeny of Monster Hunter as found in the Sunbreak Book, with only the binomial names being added by me. You can check out the full tree here: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11AWF4Cfj9YSM5w-X_Ejfe1mFgM5qmqNUmKSJZVT_ZNg/edit?gid=473735171#gid=473735171 - Runner Wyvern being a good place to start investigating a locale is an assumption by me, never stated in-canon but it makes sense I think. - Scout Jaggi is a name I made up to descripe the lone Jaggi groups you can find in-game. - It isn't confirmed that it is the Scout Jaggi that dig the tunnels. - The Fire Country is canon and we know it to be a client & ally of the Hunter's Guild, but it is never stated that they helped discovering the Wroggi, that is an addition by me. - What I call the Graveyard Tundra in this video is simply called "The Tundra" in the Third Gen games. My name for it comes from various quest descriptions in MH3U referencing a hidden area in that locale called "The Wyvern Graveyard". - The history of how the Baggi was discovered is made up by me. - Predators like Tigrex being the reason that Baggi packs merge rarely is pure assumption on my part, all the canon tells us is that they rarely form mega packs for unknown reasons. *Sources* Online Sources: tinyurl.com/JaggiThread tinyurl.com/JaggiaThread tinyurl.com/GrJaggiThread tinyurl.com/BaggiThread tinyurl.com/GrBaggiThread tinyurl.com/GrBaggiThread-R tinyurl.com/WroggiThread tinyurl.com/GrWroggiThread tinyurl.com/GrWroggiThread-R tinyurl.com/JaggiThread-JP tinyurl.com/JaggiaThread-JP tinyurl.com/GrJaggiThread-JP tinyurl.com/WroggiThread-JP tinyurl.com/GrWroggiThread-JP tinyurl.com/BaggiThread-JP tinyurl.com/GrBaggiThread-JP www.4gamer.net/games/107/G010746/20101015041/ www.4gamer.net/games/074/G007404/20090717073/ www.4gamer.net/games/074/G007404/20091013062/ Book Sources: Hunter’s Encyclopedia 3, pgs. 42-44 Monster Hunter Law of Ideas Vol. 2, pgs. 164, 165 Monster Hunter Rise: Official Setting Materials, pgs. 88, 89, 150, 151, 154, 155, 204, 206, 208 HAUNTING OF THE SUN, pg. 194 Monster Hunter Super Encyclopedia, pg. 74

If dog and runner wyverns come back to wilds with their greats and dromes, it would be both a welcome and terrifying sightif they pull it off. Imagine getting runned downed on a wide field by a pack of 30 or more veloci with 3 dromes, even while your on a Seikret.

Considering their hunting method and comparable size to a Seikret, there's a high chance booking it wouldn't even help you, with the established speed of the Jaggi especially.

I always gotta give my respects to the Jaggi mob for teaching me that letting my sharpness on my Hammer go down to broken red and bouncing off of everything was in fact NOT a very smart idea! Also, if you ever mention future "misclassified Subspecies", please try and fit in a little blurb in reference to the IRL reasoning for their mis-classification i.e. needing to keep the old copyright/trademarks (same reason for "Super Saiyan Blue" being 'Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" in merchandising), as well as the original Japanese language preventing there being more than 1 Subspecies and Rare Species per Monster.
@silver057Ай бұрын
Khezu laying it's whelps into living bodies to serve as host, Baggi building army-like structures that also paralyze and eat their prey alive and them as well as Blangos gradually increase their intelligence to the point that the latter might even start building tools in the future? The northern regions seem to be the Australia of Monster Hunter (which is ironic because Australia means "Southern land").

Yet another awesome chapter completed. It's strange though; considering Rise has all these pack-like wyverns they could have had a Dog Wyvern pack in nearly every area! Shrine Ruins: Izuchi Frost Islands: Baggi Sandy Plains: Jaggi Flooded Forest: Wroggi Citadel: Boggi See where I'm going with this? I don't get why Great Jaggi isn't in Sandy Plains or that there's no leader for the Boggi.

favourite "Dog Wyvern" in terms of combat: Great Wroggi. i like poison as an offensive status on a monster, and Great Wroggi has a good design. he also lives in the Flooded Forest (second favourite swamp... and that 2nd place is about to be contested with the incoming Scarlet Forest). favourite "Dog Wyvern" in terms of equipment: Great Jaggi. his SnS has one of the best designs i've ever seen. it's basically a *thicc* Messer and a Heater Shield. if Great Jaggi (somehow) returned in Wilds, then you can bet your whole in-game wallet and your Congalala-esque butt that i'm making that SnS.
