😂😂😂😂😂 crime watch ! Ant, do an ultra sound on your shoulder. I was told I had bilateral impingement of both shoulders. It absolutely killed. But healed in time. 👍❤️👍 the guy doing the ultrasound told me to avoid shoulder surgery. So I did. 👍❤️

Thanks guys, for taking us along on this lovely cruise, Dexter will always be with you (and us) as you make new adventures. Anthony, I have a similar shoulder injury from coming off a motorbike over 40years ago but never had it looked at (silly), for a few years I had it dislocate occasionally which was quite painful but nowadays it's not so bad though have a bit of restricted movement as I get older. Please don't do what I've done and get it looked after properly. Paul, the artwork is absolutely beautiful. Have a lovely weekend. Take care and all the best. Stevie

Yes I dislocated mine in lockdown the pain was unbearable but hospital put it back 🫣.It is still achy at times but loads better .Hope you get sorted n feel better .love your vlogs so enjoyable n calm ❤xx

Either steering or doing locks would have to hurt. I found out that I need an abdominal CT scan. sigh... I'm concerned about how enclosed the CT scanner is because of my claustrophobia. Hey Dorothy. We have had a hectic weekend. We tackled the Wigan flight Saturday. 21 locks and then an additional 4 to get to Gathurst! More cruising yesterday. Saul is great company, as is Debbie. They really helped us through such a sad time. Shoulder is getting a bit better thank you. Aww no. CT isn’t too bad Dorothy. More like a donut than the tunnel of the MRI scanner. Hope it will be ok. @@NarrowboatLifeUnlocked I looked at the CT machines online and it seems doable. My doctor offered meds to make it easier but then I would need a ride. I'd rather handle it on my own. Glad to hear you are doing better physically and hopefully emotionally is getting better as well. I'm sure they helped brighten the darkest days. That's a lot of locks! ❤

Lovely scenic vlog. Newbies to your vlogs will see Dexter in the intro and then his tribute at the end so no need to take him out. Hi Paul and Anthony. I hope you get your shoulder fixed soon Anthony as it can’t be easy being an active boater with a poorly shoulder. It’s lovely to hear you and all the other bloggers say that that particular canal is the most beautiful. We are so lucky to have them still unlike the destroyed railways. They could have been allowed to turn in to damp ditches. There are so many wonderful schemes under way too to give you more places to visit so hope that some of them are completed in your lifetime. The Lichfield and Hatherton should be first and the Cotswold later on which will give wonderful links. Whoever would have considered the derelict Wilts and Berks would be restored but they too are making enormous strides. The Manchester Bolton and bury might be a bit longer but it’s there and a bit nearer to you and goes through some wonderful scenery. It must be a great source of comfort to you both that dear Dexter is contributing so much to the Dogs Trust and hopefully finding lots of forever homes for dogs. Take care.

We are aware of a few schemes to try and open more canals. I hope we get to see them too. We are made up that Dexter has raised all that money in his memory. So great to see you. The weather looks much better. I’m dog sitting a Irish Wolfhound right now, good grief she’s huge. Not a great fit for my small house or a boat. I have 2 dogs of my own and 2cats. Definitely too much fur per square foot. 3out of my 4 pets came from family just for a little while and they seem to have forgotten to pick them up. Hello Paul and Anthony. What a beautiful cruise you had today. The opening chat, even before Dexter was mentioned, your chat had a different feel about it. I sensed it and felt some of the ambience was missing i.e Dexter. When Anthony said he was going for a power walk, immediately I thought he (Anthony) will take Dexter. It will take some time to come to terms with the loss of such a beautful family member. That Steam powered boat looked amazing. Anthony your sweets, as nice as they are, but some had sugar on them, Yikes! I can't eat sweets when they have been coated with sugar on the oustide. Nice selection re: the other sweets in the bag. Your lunch "Chicken Sausages" looked amazing. Thank you again for another lovely Vlog. Just one question. Have you felt the presense or heard any Dexter type noises on the boat since his passing?
