Why haven't I ever heard of Stump Cross Caverns before? They looked really interesting, I enjoyed geology at school but I gave it up in six form college. Thank you guys I did enjoy this week's Vlog. As I was writing this comment I got a call from the Mobility scooter company they are finally coming on Tuesday to pick up the rickety one and deliver a much better one. Those caves were amazing, but I don't think I could have gone down to them. I would be thinking, what if there was a power cut. It's just to Claustrophobic for me. That's great that you don't have those concerns. Loved the park with the statues etc. Does Dexter not mind being out in the rain walking thru floods of water? Glad those storms are over. Wow those Port Holes are just amazing, what a great job your friends did for you. I did notice that poor Anthony got the blame (again) when a tool fell in the canal!!!!! Good Saturday! Great vlog as always. I'm really surprised that they allow people to wander freely in the cave. I haven't been in a cave in a very long time, but here they would never allow that. People take bits of the cave rock which is very damaging. I loved the sculpture walk and it looked like a great day with friends. Paul, did you get inspired to do watercolor by Annamarie? It's really sad they are selling Lazy Days. I was hoping they would cruise again someday. It's cold here. 35F, windy, and cloudy. A good day to stay inside and have hot drinks. 😊 So glad you weathered the storms and Dexter didn't seem to mind the wet at all. BTW, love the portholes. Loved the cave tour❤️. The cabin I stayed at this weekend is next to 3 caverns I have been visiting for 40 years! I simply love the magical formations the water and minerals create, nature is a marvel. Dexter didn’t seem bothered by the flooded towpath sweet boy, he is a water dog for sure❤️. Watercolor is one of my favorite painting techniques, I love the transparent quality to the work. I love Anna Marie Uren’s work, as a matter of fact I found your channel when Anna Marie featured you on an episode of Narrowboat Experience! Lucky me. The visit to the caves was very interesting, as was the walk through the sculpture park. We too had storms about 24 hours after you did. So glad you were not damaged at all. I love the new portholes in the doors. Don't throw the blanks away, they might make good kitchen stands for pots or even coasters. Congratulations Paul on getting your Traders Licence. I know you are very busy with commissions until July! Now you can sell your art work straight off the boat, will you still have time for your magic shows as well? Loved seeing the caves and statues, the rest of the video as well but those things were of interest to me. My Mum was a watercolour artist, she started with oils and loved being able to make the textures with them. Then my Dad finished his passion project of restoring his wooden hull , wide beam racing sailboat and oils and living aboard a sailboat didn’t mix so she switched to watercolour. It’s different for sure, you kind of have to think backwards from light to dark, Mum still used her colours as if she was painting oils ,so not the pale ethereal look, she still used her rich lovely palates. Hopefully the big storms are over now and you’re set to continuously cruise for the summer.🙋🏼‍♀️

I think the thing in London is to do with people overstaying there time on the mooring spots so there are no moorings for visitors. That is the whole point of the 2 week max stay.
