I'd actually like that pair since the anime/manga is about Naruto and what Naruto always wanted was Sakura. The way I see it, for the Manga to end in a satisfying way(or any long ongoing story for that matter) is for the protagonist to accomplish all of the things he wanted from episode 1. Naruto always wanted to become strong, hokage, acknowledged by everyone and to have sakura to like him. He accomplished everything except for the hokage and sakura thing. I'm not saying Sakura is a better match for Naruto than Hinata, nor am I'm saying that Hinata is better, but you gotta understand that Naruto, from day up to the Pain arc, didn't really care for Sakura as much as Hinata. Kishi, shoe-horning Hinata into Naruto's struggle to get Sakura felt awkward to me.

Actually, Sakura said so herself, that she'd be the distraction and Naruto and Sasuke can do their job and attack Madara. In that regard, she did reveal the extent of Madara's Limbo risk-free, so she did succeed in that aspect. However that moment where she says Sasuke doesn't care for her, yeah, that was stupid =/

In both translations she didn't say "...for her". It could mean in general. Teamwork doesn't work if Sasuke, doesn't acknowledge or help his ally.

It was kinda stupid, but I agree that she could have been thinking about the whole "teamwork" thing. Maybe it was to imply more on her suspicion of him and his intentions, which would be a problem later on. Or maybe Kishi just had to use that panel so that she would notice Sasuke's rinnegan. Then Kishi should have thought of something better for her to think about especially in a dangerous time like that. :/

ForneverWorld After rereading the chapter, I think that Sasuke does care about Sakura, he just cares in a different way. While Naruto is vocal about his feelings, Sasuke cares with his actions....or doesn't care with his actions lol. But if you reread it, you will see it was Sasuke who responded first while Naruto and Kakashi, sat their is amazement. He charged in, and cut her loose. Now he didn't stop to check on her, but Naruto just regrew Kakashi eye, so I think a stab would be relatively easy to deal with. I also think that he felt it was important to keep his eyes on Madara, seeing as he is the only one who can see him clearly. I bet he was analyzing everything. But in the end, the fact that he reacted first speaks about how he felt for her, and I think thats the kind of leader he will be, the one that does what needs to be done, even if he is hated for it. My two possibly bias sense

Helena c Agreed, when he came to her rescue I honestly thought her response was going to be, he does care about me. Honestly I think because of the last chapters reference to Sakura's feelings, as being changed from the port of view of Kakashi, I think weeks chapter just served as a clarification that Sakura does still have feelings for Sasuke , and still wants him to recognize her. I think some people are going over top in saying she is the only who hasn't changed or grew, because last time I checked Naruto still wants to be Hokage, and Sasuke still wants to avenge his clan.

Eh, I might be alone in saying this but I actually liked Sakura in this chapter. She did what she said she was going to do and provide a distraction for the others to move in which worked in Sasuke's favor. Plus she learned Tsunade's jutsu. The only reason she looks weak right now is because she tried to go against Madara SO6P. Currently only Naruto and Sasuke are qualified to do that. Lastly I fully believe she has become Kage level as Kishi throws out hints that team 7 are the new and stronger version of the legendary Sannin. All I am saying is the girl has done well in progressing her strength from what she was at the beginning of the series where she was referred to as an average, nothing to special ninja.

In my opinion, as a girl and a writer, I can very much relate to Sakura. She did a good job, although she failed, to try and fight. Just like Hinata vs Pein, she tried her best for herself and the team and can still keep going with that power. Truthfully, as a writer, again, I believe there is a foreshadowing in her need to point out Sasuke. For me, I think Sasuke does care, but he trusts the jutsu will protect her enough-- so he is trusting she can fight herself. Meanwhile, he knows Madara is bamf, and he ISN'T a character to stray away from that utmost importance, which shows his development at it's absolute peek. As for Madara, god he's a badass, abd I honestly have NO idea what Kishi's planning, ahaha. We need Goku over here.

xmeany It's possible that Sakura believes in Sasuke enough that she casts aside all he's ever done to her to try to see the light hiding within him (Just like Naruto does, thus this can be taken as romantic OR as friendship). I assume she wishes she could reach him as well as Naruto does. As for how she feels about Naruto-- well, if it IS true that Sasuke doesn't care about/love Sakura in /that way/, he has the right not to. And if Sakura doesn't love Naruto in /that way/, she also has the right not to. But I do agree that, yes, Sakura SHOULD thank Naruto once and a while. I view them as a brother sister relationship, and at that point of friendship they already know their appreciation for each other enough not to need to say it.

Because of this sage of six paths talk I'm not so sure about a true Naruto Vs Sasuke fight. It's either now or never. Within the Infinite Tsukuyomi is the only place they have any chance of fighting now if Madara uses this dream world to pit them against each other. Otherwise, the most we'll get is an inconclusive Naruto Jr. vs Sasuke Jr. in the Chunnin exams some years later.

The real problem was her moping about Sasuke not showing concern. 1. The last time Sasuke showed even the slightest bit of affection toward her was the "Thank You" before ditching Konoha. The fact Kishimoto keeps intentionally making it look like Sasuke doesnt care about Sakura pretty much means 1 of 2 things. (A) He really doesn't. (B) Sasuke does care about her, perhaps a great deal and this is merely Kishi attempting another "twist". If I had to guess id put money on "B" as it's absurdly suspicious Kishi feels he needs to emphasize Sakura's feelings during a life and death struggle for the fate of the world. A single thought bubble from Sasuke would clear up everything yet Kishimoto is intentionally keeping Sasuke quiet.

Dude, do you not get what Kishi does with Team 7? He keeps their power the same and builds upon it. Naruto used a Bijuu Dama Rasen-Shuriken that was like a damn tactical nuke in explosion radius, Sakura used Tsunade's bread and butter technique, and Sasuke added to his Susano'o. It's all just expanded upon of their previous techs. Not to mention Naruto is gonna show his Bijuu Avatar next and it'll be WICKED.

This entire series is based upon spamming of techniques that work. Why would they change what proves to be effective? Hence why everyone just uses the same ones over and over. And they're not even the same, they all have different properties, effects, and purposes. Minato with FTG, Hashirama with Mokuton, Obito with Kamui, Sasuke and Susano'o/Amaterasu, Naruto with Kage Bunshin/Rasemgan, Shino and his bugs, Shikamaru and his shadows, the list is endless. I'm just saying it's a staple of the series and to expect different doesn't make much sense, especially when they keep proving to be strong AND effective.

I thought Sakura did alright. She has a power up, and attempted to fight. If there was a limbo clone there, she probably would've got =-her punch in. Sakura's Thoughts on Sasuke was taken in different ways. I'm gonna check the RAWs to translate it myself. MP and MS translations are roughly the same. MP - "Sasuke-kun... ...doesn't seem to care...", MS - "I wonder if Sasuke-kun... cares about in the least..." . I feel it doesn't necessarily mean it's romantic feelings. Mangastream's sound more platonic. She still call him Sasuke-kun, out of habit or it's what he's addressed as. I seen "-kun" used on different occasions. I hears a few girls called -kun affectionately though not common.

Well, I agree with you about the awesome chapter! But one thing I'm wondering about is Sakura. Well Sakura here in these end chapters she have been like "I don't wanna be behind them anymore". She may have known that she couldn't do anything against Madara so she activated her seal so she couldn't die. I think that is one of the things that she did to try to show them that she aren't behind them. But yeah the one line where she says "Sasuke-kun doesn't care" (or something like that) may have shown that she still got fellings for him and that gives her like a kick and send her back so the reader may feel like "FTW she didn't even change". I just had one idea about your idea with obito and is he really dead or unconscious. if you notice in the second page obito's eyes are switched. Zetsu has his sharigan and his eye that should've had the sharigan is closed which was probably madara switched them so zetsu could transport them out. BUTT!!! remember black zetsu is only covering obitos body so that eye is still in obito he may be able to see and everything he's definetely not dead yet he told sakura that zetsu would control his body soon.so zetsu is controlling his body i guess we got wait for obito to regain strength or naruto jump in sage mark ninshuu and save him like guy and kakashi. but theres one flaw to this if madara switched obitos eyes so zetsu can control it, that means zetsu doesn't have full control of obito. *p.s. zetsu doesn't need to stick to a dead body to use the sharigan, another point to prove your right he's probably unconscious. He has all these newe types of Rasengans even though he just got Bijuu Mode as a power up! In the meantime Kakashi suddenly got the ability to spam the shit out of his Mangekyo and now Sakura? What the hell???? She hasn't done shit ever since beating Sasori, yet she also gets a power up! In the mean time, hard working characters like Lee are just standing there doing nothing. Lbgmrg, good questions. I know Shikamaru made a full recovery when Tsunade came back, so there's one answer. He even said that he'd be Naruto's (Tobirama) advisor whenever the war is over and was present during the fight with Guruguru. Commentating on how they'd be dead if it wasn't for the Third and the revelation that he could use all five natures (which is badass within itself). I'm pretty sure Spiral Zetsu (Guruguru) is using Yamato to amplify his jutsu (Sage Art Wood Release: True Several Thousand Hands). I'd assume the Third is still handling the thousand hand situation. As for the other three Kage, Hashirama & Tobirama are rendered useless after being stuck with the chakra rods in their chakra pressure points. Although they are Edo, the rods have the ability to neutralize regeneration as we saw with Minato. This is why Tobirama couldn't join the fight and had to send Sasuke alone. I'm assuming Hashirama is still spiked on the ground (smh). So the true question is, what the fuck happened to Bee? Was he absorbed with Gyūki since they were fused (I think that's what happened)? And where is Minato after taking the the hit for Guy. Hope this was helpful.

I mean it was going so well when Sakura gave Naruto CPR, and Kakashi said her feelings for Sasuke have changed, it looked like she's finally developing as a character but nope, Kishi was basically like: "Sakura's developing too much as a character, I'll have her look like a complete fool again to make Naruto and Sasuke look good". Apart from the Sakura bit, great chapter. Naruto being able to regrow lost limbs and Sasuke being able to fly now. Seriously, how powerful are these three? Naruto, Sasuke and Madara have reached a point where everyone else around them are like toothpicks now. Even Hashirama was treated like crap in this war. Don't even get me started on Minato. young scoot there is nothing wrong with power-ups and characters getting stronger. the problem with power-ups, though, is that making a character too strong lowers the importance of other characters. In dragon ball z, the only characters that really mattered by the end of the series were goku and buu because no one else could even touch buu. the way these characters are progressing, naruto, sasuke, and madara are on a completely different world compared to literally every other character, including the kages. also, it is hard to write a believable way to stop such a character without deus ex machina

So in my opinion, these two alone can take out the whole Naruto universe (except for Madara of course) because of how OP these two are. Sakura's opinion was of Sasuke doesn't care, not because of Love like you seem to think, it's of friendship. Contrary to what you seem to think, Sakura still cares for Sasuke, but not LOVE! It's friendship, kinship! *facepalm* Yes Sakura still has a little love for Sasuke, but she was seeing if Sasuke cared as a FRIEND, but she realized, he didn't. What she thought wasn't to do with her love for him, but it was because she cared for him as a friend. Also, Kaguya's 3rd eye was also the Juubi Rinnegan, not the Byakugan. Kaguya's normal 2 eyes are Byakugan.

Well, looks like everyone understands Sakura's BS. But Naruto had some AMAZING feats this chapter. 1. Fighting Madara's clones even though he can't see them. My boy is using pure, next level sensing and is going hand to hand with the clones. Parrying, countering, attacking while basically being blind. That's insane, Naruto's sensing is just freakishly good. 2. Bijuu Dama Rasen-Shuriken. Did you guys see how MASSIVE that explosion was?! It dwarfed the entire landscape and decimated the Chibaku Tensei rocks with a touch, and that debris fell to the earth. And the DEBRIS was like 6 times bigger than the mountains. My boy is throwing atomic bombs like baseballs. And this is without his Bijuu Avatar! Which is gonna be stupid strong with great capabilities, hopefully some Gudo Dama armor and weapons to compliment it. I'm so hyped to see Naruto at full power.

when Madara got the bijuu's power I was wondering why he had this strange bone band on half of his head. I thought it was because he got the same eye as his "mother" and he was keeping it for his "plan". The fact he would be able to break this bone band (due to this uncomplete form) got through my mind but I was like "meh, it's just my imagination. I'm pretty sure it will not happen, it would be awesome though." Annnnnnnnd he did exactly what I thought and this scene is almost like I imagined... Love you Kishimoto :D

Kishimoto is a genius i just realized now that Kakashi lost his sharingan and Sakura recent power up she is now Stronger than Kakashi meaning all the members of team 7 surpassed there teacher because if kakashi never lost his sharingan eye many people would always considered him stronger than Sakura but now that his eye is gone i think Sakura is stronger than he is and Kakashi would probably even admit it himself.

For some odd reason, i swear Shisui in some state will return via reanimation (Sasuke) to use his Sharingan, which is known to be able to break any genjutsu to end Madara's jutsu. Idk maybe who knows lol. Awesome review yet again.!

my prediction for next few chapters is: everyone will be put under the genjutsu except sasuke because he his that eye, he will then disrupt it for naruto and they will fight or it wont happen for naruto because of sage mode.. more hten likely will happen tho. also i can see it just skipping the battle and going to the ppl in genjutsu like what is this or whatever and then wake up with sasuke/naruto fucked up to the max on the floor and madara dead... and then we get glimpses back into the battle.. then for the ending sauske and naruto will talk and it will show the full battle and madara will say something before he dies that will make them wonder or whatever and it will end

I feel like you missed much of what happened in this chapter. Sakura gets stabbed--can still move--continues to attack Madara--Naruto and Sasuke come in to save her from his attack. Teamwork, or she's being saved? We're so used to her being saved that we just jump to that. I think of Naruto or Sasuke were in her position and the other two saved the one in trouble, it wouldn't be an issue. Kishi's trying to show their teamwork in my opinion. Madara noted that she was surpassing some sort of rule too. I don't like Sakura, Kishi has done a good job making everyone hate her, but this is a 3v1 and he's trying to make her as legitimate in the fight as possible. I also think Sasuke does in fact like Sakura, but he's been a little messed up in the head for a while lol

I would love for that to happen between naruto and sakura. My thought on madaras rinne/sharingan is that is the eye kaguya and sasuke now and did have is the eternal tsyuknomi eye which its power is to create the most powerful genjutsu/ spell which will cast all of those who look at it or are near it will fall into slumber. Sasukes ability of his rinne tsyuknomi eye, instant teleportation, and major increase in Susan'o, surpassed Madaras big time. That's sasukes eye ability but its not complete because the other eye will possibly come to his right eye and he might be able to not go under the spell and possibly control the eternal tsyuknomi, that's my theory and I hope some people like it😃

Your theory is quite interesting and I believe that most of what you are saying is indeed what is going to happen. Sasuke should be able to see through Eternal Tsukuyomi with his eye and Naruto should be able to break through it with the help of the Tailed Beasts.

Sasuke power ups with his Sharinnegan so far is the ability to teleport himself and other over a certain distance, and he had the same Susanoo Indra had! I'd assume he's able to do everything were seeing Madara do as far as rinnegan and sharingan techniques, also he can use the 5 different nature types now cause of his eye. Naruto will probably get that avatar thing Asura used against Indra in their battle as his next power up cause he's going to need it.

Andrew herbst my theory is, naruto is going to have to link some of his sage chakra with everyone, and will most likely summon ma and pa, to merge (yet another power up) and will probably, reverse summon them into the toads world. And think of a strategy or only a few will go back to try to defeat madara. Also genjutsu doesn't affect sage chakra. Stated by jaraya.
