I love that all of the people in the house are ninjas and have super sensitive senses, which means Naruto and Hinata are fully aware that Boruto and Himawari were hiding just outside the room that they are flirting at and yet they countinue doing what they were doing without any shame. Rather than ignore her, he is wholy ignorant of affections. It took his months after the war to come to term that he likes her. Coming from a person whose emotional growtg is stunted, I get Naruto'a insecurity. He is so used to do the chasing he will never noticed being chased. And now that he gets a taste of being loved, he feels insecure that he is not enough for her. After all, everyone else always chose someone else over him. Like what Sakura told Hinata in that movie; Naruto can't tell the difference between liking a person and liking ramen. Considering how sincerely and obsessively devoted she is to Sasuke, Sakura certainly know love, even if her love leans on the selfish side. Sure this is not canon, but I like the realism of it. It really feels like a NaruHina moment. Besides, a husband still feeling jealous over his wife talking to another man and come whining at her, it shows he is still heads over heels with her. The one thing a married couple must always be wary of is not just outside meddling, but forgetting how it feels to be in love with someone so much you are willing to commit to a future with them. Because time tends to make people take each other for granted.
