The fact that CC2 have been consistently releasing good games and then they rush out a game in a series that they were done with tells me it’s an issue with bamco. They wanted to rush release a Naruto game for the 20th anniversary and this is what we got. I blame publishers for giving out deadlines that are impossible to meet.

I bought the game for a revived online and the new characters, but the balancing is so horrendous. Supports and jutsu are way too powerful. The meta is so bad and unfun to play with and against. I’mma be real, I think calling this game unfinished is putting it lightly. This game, while it has better gameplay, but that’s the issue, it was changed so much that it’s genuinely not fun. I play Haku, Hanzo and Hinata as a team, and I can’t even enjoy my matches. If I’m being honest, I think I’d rather recommend Storm Legacy too for a better experience. I bought this game to play with my friends, and I can’t even do that. The armored jutsu stuff is absolute nonsense, I cannot stand this stuff. I’d rather play Xenoverse 2 than play this game ever again, or even go back to playing Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles, and pray for a Demon Slayer Hinokami Chronicles 2.

I agree with your opinion in most of the subjects, for me Naruto Storm Connections it doesn’t feels like a new Storm game at all, they changed only a few buttons commands and nothing more, the fact that they removed Tilts and they put the tilts moves on the second jutsus it's pretty lame, disappointing and lackluster, this game feels more like an update DLC than like an actual New Storm Game. But honestly, for me Storm 1 will remain the most Unique one from the series and the closest to the anime itself because of the very dynamic gameplay features, my reasons: Intro of characters before the encounter, unique jutsus that didn't came back to the other Storm games, longer and diverse movesets for almost any character, Awakenings in Storm 1 have also Ultimate Jutsus, Jutsus Clashes and Wall Fighting... and I can go on and on to state it why Storm 1 gameplay was the most unique one from the Storm Series, just try to Imagine Storm 4 gameplay with Storm 1 gameplay features, In my opinion that will be the Perfect Storm game. The First Storm game has the most Unique gameplay features perspective and the particular presentation of the game was so ahead of it's time in my opinion, the only downside of the first Storm game was the very lacking Story Mode Interactions, and from Storm 3 the developers cut and shortned the movesets of characters, that's why I don't agree with their choices. (By the way, my favourite Storm games and I will put them in my personal order will be: 1.Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 1 and Generations. (these have my favourite vibe and charm of the anime itself because of the dynamic gameplay features) 2. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2( for the unique Story and some Unique Boss Battles and let's not forget that Iconic "Calm Before the Storm" OST from the Characters Selection Screen and many more diverse soundtracks) 3. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst (Because of the more well-rounded diverse Story Perspective and very epic Boss Battles and also the soundtrack "Outside Konoha" and others soundtracks as well) 4. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 (mostly because of the unique option to change/switch between your characters team during the fight, this particular option mechanics should've been already in the game from the very first Storm game in my opinion) 5. Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (because of the abused and annoying Counter mechanic) 🤷🏻‍♂️

Online: Cancer like 99,9% of the community in it playing 3 characters for free W and since i hate online because of how toxic it is, then i'm glad it exists as a mistake. Characters: It's maybe the biggest and only subject CC2 has only talked and promoted about this game in majority. Like this is maybe a big roster but who cares about numbers if the devs removed gameplay stuff for these like chakra shurikens. And finally Story modes: .........What else do you want me to say.........Forgettable as hell. As a big storm fan since 2008, i made the mistake of buying this trash for 60 dollars. I know i would feel bad about it but we all make mistakes and so did i. This game is not a new or new entry strom game, it is 20th aniversary for naruto, let explain in the interview inside jp magazine, it state that they are creating a 20th aniversary game and also they say that it will be a storm game and it will be delay for some reason they wont say, thats why we have a history mode with a slide show because if you are celebrating aniversary of something, it is common to use slide show, and the special is for what naruto stands for in the series, thats why it is center around naruto, and the pre order bonus is the aniversary costumes that is died give away this is aniversary game for naruto, its not storm game, it is a 20th aniversary naruto game that is delay.

Opinions Disregarded Storm 1-4 all priced individually and $60 each Storm Connections - $60 once, with every character from all 6 of those in next gen power with future updates and rebalanced meta for at least 2 years to come Using Legacy as an alternative to buying Connections is double edged. Ultimately Connections isn't too different than Storm 4, but Storm 1-Revolutions weren't much unique from each other either and you payed $60 each within 6yrs of each other. Storm 1 had more atmosphere and character. I’d go as far to say even skill margin. still felt like an actual “Ultimate Ninja” title. Everyone had unique damage and wasn’t reduced to the same exact damage scaling. Directional/Tilt combos had versatile to every direction, Clashes, Command inputs for ultimates like the old Ultimate Ninja Titles on PS2, Hell even Storm 2 was genuinely good even tho they took away from that as well. After that, all these storm titles are so watered down. Storm 1 was just *original & unique*

I mean the first time I saw the trailer for this game I already know something was wrong... Like I wasn't even hyped so I know it's not gonna turn out great and I was right. So yeah I dodged a bullet but the bullet was only travelling at 5m/h.

I been with storm since storm 1...since we had jutsu clashes...since we gad to press buttons during ults faster than the opponent to see if we could dodge it I did not buy this game, because 1 there was nothing they could really add too the story that would warrent a full $70 price, when they could have revived Storm 4 with a new season adding the new characters as DLC. Or Like othe games charge $29.99 for the extension of the Boruto story. 2. I watched those who played the beta and when they said what was taken away and what changed, making a lesser version of storm 4. No sir 3. Saying we're getting over a hundred characters but only having them as different sking of characters (5 narutos, last and chunnin shinobi having the same move sets) I looked at the characters and there were some favorites missing that could have been easily added. 4....i cant play with my damn friends... I skipped this one
