I was wondering this for a long time now, but I think that since Kawaki is "Naruto's child" and "Naruto's child" is seen as a pure innocent boy who love his father there's no way they Kawaki would lie about his father death. Kawaki doesn't need proof beacuse he knows everyone that everyone know that Boruto wouldn't lie about his father death. And you have to remember In their mind Eida said "I don't know what he did but boruto use some type of dark vortext and and swallowed both the hokage and his wife" So In their mind (leaf village) "Boruto" took naruto ans his wife in a different dimension and killed them there and came back to kill kawaki.

Kawaki wanted to get the burden of having to kill boruto off his shoulders and this way he also had an explanation for why naruto is missing. From that point its understandable. But he could have chosen safer ways. Eida is right that kawaki takes things too far. But she wouldn't leave him unless Daemon would. I can see a brother - sister split up where Daemon joins boruto and eida sticks to kawaki

Just bec something didn’t happen during omnipotence doesn’t mean that omnipotence is weaker in making people believe said event. Cause for all they know they were chasing boruto for a while around the village BEFORE he got to Naruto where he was supposedly killed by kawaki which everyone would assume is true seeing as Naruto’s chakra vanished around kawakis, so even if omnipotence was turned on after the fact, Naruto’s “death” is just as controllable as kawakis and eidas strongest lies

1. Fused Momoshiki used Shikamaru's shadow paralysis jutsu on them to where they couldn't move so Boruto had to throw his vanishing rasengan in order to free them and save them. 2. After the fight vs Naruto and Sasuke, FUSED Momoshiki replenished his health and chakra with the scientific ninja tool from Katasuke, ate 3 more chakra pills which replenished him even further, and still lost 1v1 to *KID* Boruto while Naruto and Sasuke were pinned down by chakra rods. 3. *BASE* Boruto using a shadow clone was capable of blitzing FUSED Momoshiki, punch him in the stomach, activate his Jougan, counted FUSED Momoshiki's taijutsu, which created an opening for another vanishing rasengan hit to his ribcage all before the real Boruto came out of the sky with his giant vanishing rasengan(which was mixed with BOTH Boruto and Naruto's chakra) to defeat FUSED Momoshiki but the *FACT* still remains that *KID* Boruto did indeed fight *FUSED* Momoshiki *1v1* and held his own and defeated him proving he's already Otsutsuki tier which is NOT *DEBATABLE*

Daily reminder that Isshiki tried to feed Kaguya to the ten tails only to fail miserably when she defended herself and clapped him so bad that he was crawling on the ground in his own blood pool and was forced to retreat to go into hiding for centuries just to recover. I think the biggest plot hole that hasn't been addressed is why is aida still in the village. If everyone memories are switched then shikimaru should believe that the deal he made with aida is based off aida and boruto(kawaki) hitting it off. Unless the series bring up the laxk of a body as a suspicious i think it makes more sence or equal sence for there to be no body, to peoples knowledge they simply "disappeared" in a near instances, Kawaki can create portals to other dimensions, is good at fire release, can fire lasers, has Issikis powers (something they dont know well so they could assume some power that can do that) so there being no body along with Eda's confirmation i think it makes sense for people who dont want to accept it to blindly belive anything to not think about it

But the thing is just cause Naruto and Hinata chakra signatures disappeared dosen't mean their dead as Konoha has faced enemies with the abilities to appear and disappear at will, you throw Otsutsuki abilities into the mix they may considered that Naruto and Hinata were caught off guard and captured. To be honest I don’t even like Eida or Daemon as Characters I just view them as Plot Devices to move the Story Forward I think they could have done the Whole Kawaki Boruto Thing better than just having Eida do her Plot Device Convenient Omnipotence Ability and that’s not even going into Daemon who doesn’t even have a Reason to be as Strong as he Is.

i think kawaki and ada are ureliable narrators. and ada just said she wanted to help him. as amado says she probably helped him use his. as he couldnt make a wish without having the ability. but the same as delta can fly. and amado experimented on all kara members. and ada and deamon. we have to assume kawakis manufactured karma. and deltas new body. are upgraded with shibai abilities to some degree. if not better. waiting for them to whip it out end game. imagine kawaki with 10 paths adas and and deamons maybe even more kara abilities. something that makes him a threat to boruto. were right now hes being out paced by the class.

There are truly many jutsu that can make bodies vanish. And Kawaki that inexperience ninja knows those? Kawaki's reaction to Naruto's dead is also weird. I mean he did not exactly act heart broken over it. Even if he did later it was off-screen. Sure Eida is an more or less reliable information source. But does no one in konoha find it weird that her taste in men suddenly switched from Boruto(The loner) to Kawaki Uzumaki(The Hokage son)? What about the fact that Kawaki karma? If anything I am curious about Kawaki's treatment. If everyone believe he is Boruto, then the smart ones also considered him a threat due to Momoshiki, yet people act like Momoshiki has been extracted from his body? There seems to be many inconsistencies. This omnipotence is not interesting. There are so many ways to weaken it like using a mind reader, yet the author refused to go that route. Hopefully Kishimoto don't screw up the story like he did Samurai 8. I am also curious about Eida and Kawaki romance, if that stuff even went everywhere? The way they acts seem like nothing happened. The fact three years have passed and Boruto had not seemingly snapped or Momoshiki has taken over fully also makes me question if anything Kawaki did were even necessary at all? The fact that we already know Boruto and Kawaki will walk away from this fine destroys the tension. The only thing we can see in that long flashback is if any of the other characters make it out of this. But frankly with those elders still alive and Ino having her priorities off, then frankly at point the series just intend to make the previous adults even more dislikable than before. And I think the naruto explained guy has misunderstood something. He acts like Boruto were the one who caused Inojin to be injured, which were definitely not the case. Those Shinju would have come to the village either way to bolster their forces or simply to eat people with chakra. Her having "clan" responsibility and discarding her friends is something the previous generation would have done. She is in a high position of power, like any of those elders can afford to get rid of her and replace her with another Yamanaka member and the same with Shikamaru. They can remove him as hokage, but unless they had a replacement that is as smart as him, they might as well just shut up and step aside. They should have placed Kakashi and Tsunade in those roles. At least they would have acted smarter like not telling the main character "You won't leave this room alive".
