That’s the least believable part of what Nas said. If you’re face to face, you squash it right there. And you go back to the homies who were there and say it was squashed. Snoop’s song definitely aligns more with Pac’s mentality at the time and Death Row was definitely rolling deep for the MTV Awards. Can’t see any reason why Snoop would not have been in the vicinity. If Pac wanted to squash it, he could have gotten on camera at the MTV Awards and said so. You think MTV wouldn’t have let the hottest rap star in the game in that moment get on camera and break some news like that? Nas definitely sounds like he rewrote history here.

@@sedrickaknight Nas rapped about squashing his beef with Pac back on his 1999 song We Will Survive- that was 24 years ago. How is he reinventing the situation? That song is all the receipt needed. He has no reason to reinvent anything- the difference between him and Pac and a lot of other rappers is that both were Pro-Black and had similar ideals, so their beef wasn't hard to squash. They had admiration for each other.
