I think aside from his obvious lyrical ability and writing, the thing that separates Nas from other great rappers is his humility and how candid he is in his raps about his true thoughts and feelings. It’s something I’ve always appreciated about Nas and there aren’t many artists who are so relatable in this way. Nas is my favorite MC of all time and it isn’t really close.
