@@wallcity318 Im saying it's just like a child's birthday..its impossible for a child born in 2020 to be a 3 year old in the year 2022 smh So just like anniversaries & birthdays, the albums are counted the same, for example: KD1 released August 21, 2020.. so 1 year from that would be August 21,2021..Then, 2 years from the album's birth would be August 21, 2022.. And just like a child's age, KD1 turned 24 months(2 years old) on August 21 2022... So today, would mean KD1 is only 27 months old smh...3 years(36 months) would be on August 21, 2023, which isn't here yet KD2's birth/release date, was on August 6th, 2021.. Meaning, 1 year(12 months) from that would be on August 6, 2022 ...2 years(24 months) would be August 6, 2023, which isn't here yet either Magic album was released 4 months later than KD2 on December 24, 2021.. So December 24, 2022 would be its 1 year anniversary/birth...clearly Magic isn't a 1 year old yet

I love KD I and KD II and thought Magic was super incredible but KD III the real gem. Might be seriously the best rap album within the past 10 years. It's funny how Jay Z believes he's the God emcee but will never drop this much heat within the next 2-3 years. I honestly think this is what Nas really needed a producer like hit boy. Over the last two years Nas have done some of his best work that I heard from him for quite awhile. This new album is pure perfection with mixture of magic and the last two king disease albums. Hit boy and Nas really hitting their groove and their collaborations is bordering on gang starr levels.

16:58 I think Nas and No I.D. DEFINITELY had that same chemistry. Those tracks he did on LIG were dreamlike("Daughters" "Stay" and "Back When" were 🤤) and I remember listening through the album thinking "finally he found a producer that understands him and gives him what he's been needing" and happy he finally moved away from Saleem Remi(who was too drastically hit or miss). LIG was such a breath of fresh air and It felt so good hearing Nas rapping over epic, orchestral instrumentals and not simple, naked boom bap beats. I would love for Nas and No I.D. to do an album.

Love the review and everything y’all do at DEHH, but let’s be very clear Myke C-Town: Eminem and Wayne are not Nas’s peers! Feefo was absolutely spot-on in saying that Jay is his only peer. Much love!

17:15 At this point I think it would be ill if Nas and Hit-Boy started collaborating with other producers to really expand their visions. Their minds are so locked in together, and with this project, not to mention the other 3 projects, they already solidified themselves forreal as an indelible tandem. Nonetheless this shit shocked me. 👑

Loved the album. Defintely the best of the KD trilogy. I might like it even more than Magic too. This run he has been on at his age is nothing short of incredible. S/o to hit boy. Their chemistry has been amazing.

@@Steven-uk2fz it depends on how you want to measure what's impressive. Again, Nas is doing it with 6 straight projects from 2018 to current... and if u call features from jumping on drake, bey, ye, push, and Khalid impressive then that's cool too. We just amazed by different things.. and 444 was in 2017.. its 2023 homie...

Nas legit has close to 10 projects that you can consider his best: Illmatic, It Was Written, Stillmatic, God’s Son, The N.I.G.G.E.R. Album, Life is Good, King’s Disease 1-3 & Magic. All of those albums can be considered Nas’s best albums. It’s incredible to be a fan & witness the consistency he’s put out recently. #Salute to both Nas & Hit-Boy

I just listened to KD3 and it’s definitely going to be on my list for my most favorite albums of 2023. I can’t believe Nas and Hitboy have made 4 great albums in under 2 years. Can you do a tier list or a bracket of your favorite Nas albums? Do you think there is going to be a KD4? P.S. Also How many times do you have to listen to an album before you can critically critique it?

I think people forget how ahead of his time.... #StreetsDisciple "Message to the feds" Nas was using the same flow thats prevalent today, as well as the production style. There was no Migos, 21 Savage, etc when Esco made that album. Its just that he rarely does it so its overshadowed. This is the same guy that rapped in the Christmas carol cadence on "Shoot em up" on Nastradamus. Its crazy people think he's never used these flows before.

On KD4 I need like Mike said a J Cole track called no features. But then stack the album with features. A Lupe feature, a proper Jay-Z track, Kendrick, Lil Wayne, Em, Drake and 21. King's collaboration
