There is an artist who is the embodiment of Lamont Coleman...RJ Payne, formerly known as battle rapper Reignman. Check out the If Cocaine Could Talk series and his cinematic breakdowns of movie scenes. Also his verses on Benny The Butcher's "Dirty Harry" and his song with Swave Sevah and Nems "Fuck Ya Life". They won't disappoint. I promise

After studying Big L for a long time this guy was gonna be a billionaire. he would’ve had serious competition with Eminem in 99-02. He would’ve made serious records during that time. What a damn loss. honestly one of the most unspoken losses that’s even happened in hip hop history. what’s hidden in the dark will come to light and I’m glad some artists today still give a shout out to L. Rest easy dawg you was too talented. one of my idols

@Floyd Gibson did it, Nas released illmatic before L's album and also had his first appearance on the Main Source's album in 1991 on their track called Live At The Barbeque. So how exactly he paved him the way, not to mention different styles and music.
