that was fun to watch! great drive! is bump drafting actually allowed in these spec races? and does is unsettle the car or not at all?

Thanks! Yes, bump drafting is allowed. And it does upset the car is not done smoothly, it's definitely a weird feeling, takes some time to get used to it

Saw my car in the thumbnail, so I had to pop in for a watch. Nice drive, car seemed dialed in. Unfortunate to get nudged off track in the early part of the race, but nice recovery.

@@John-Drives-Cars thanks John, good driving out there! It was definitely a tough race, but happy with the performance being my first nationals and only my 5th weekend of racing after getting my license earlier this year. Looking forward to next season 😃

Stupid move by the Maita at 7:11. Also, maybe your transmission mounts shot or something in the transmission is not quite right because it seemed like you really struggled with the upshift onto the main straight. It seems ok in other parts of the track where you're shifting without turning which makes me think it's the mounts.

Even worse is the punt at 12:56. God what terrible driving from the orange/purple Miata.
