Thank you, Tim. When you showed us this NASB 2020 bible, my first reaction was the cover reminds me of my Cambridge Pitt Minion that I purchased in June 1963. The description of that cover was hand grained Morocco leather. I continue to read that bible to this day. I agree with your observation on the word spacing with this left justified text.

That calfskin looks a lot like the goatskin on the steadfast preachers bible

I wish they’d update the 95 with these design features.

Very nice Bible! I agree it's not a premium Bible but it would still be a nice addition to someone's collection!

It is readable in good large dark print.

I myself like the porous leather. Feels great in my hands that’s why I like the Nasb ref Buffalo. This looks similar. Just my opinion.

Thank you for the review vid. I really like watching your thoughts on Bibles and Bible translations. This one seems to have more opaque paper than the leather tex edition.

Thanks Bro! I love the NASB 2020 and have this in the Brown Leathertex. I love the text block but not a fan of the brown cover. Have you done a review of the “genuine leather” LPUT?
@AFrischPerspective3 жыл бұрын
I haven't done a review of the genuine leather edition, just the leathertex and calfskin, which were sent to me for review. But I think the SA Tabernacle channel has a review of the genuine leather.

Does the velvet sleeve from your 1995 calfskin fit over the 2020 calfskin edition?

Tim, is the font and print an update from the 1995 calfskin edition?

Why, why, WHY do these companies think it is acceptable to wrap a Chinese-bound book block in calfskin and goatskin? For me, what does it matter what it is wrapped in, who it is typeset by, or how inexpensive it is, WHEN IT IS PRINTED IN CHINA?

Pretty spendy at 145 for what it is

Hmmm, cover looks really porous 🤔

I prefer the NASB95 to the NASB20. The latter has a dumbed-down vocabulary, and too much politically correct gender-neutral language. But the NASB20 LPUT format is outstanding. Love the unjustified text, paragraphing, large verse numbers, and nice DARK text. Also, none of the awful red lettering, which is cheesy and should be banned. I wish the NASB95 would come out in this format.
