@@ShuckClater That isn't true in the slightest though. Chastain takes incidents extremely well, the only one in recent memory he didn't was the Gragson one, and Gragson was the one who initiated that by grabbing Ross
@chipsdubbo4861 Жыл бұрын
(Disclaimer, Chastains my favorite driver, so this is more what I've heard than what I know.) People dislike Chastain because he has a reputation of being overly aggressive on the track, while at the same time not really owning up to it post race. Every other week last year he was involved in an incident with another driver, often avoidable ones stemming from his extremely aggressive driving style(A style which probably stems from 95% of his career involving wheeling shitboxes to the best possible finishes he could get), which contrasts heavily with Chastains actual humble, soft spoken farm boy personality. Making him appear extremely two-faced to some.
@jamesanthony3691 Жыл бұрын
I’ve definitely jumped on the Chastain Bandwagon!! I’m 100% onboard!! I haven’t felt this away about a driver since Mark Martin, Rusty Wallace, Earnhardt Sr & Jr, left the sport.. NASCAR really needs to stop with the muzzles & let these guys be who they are instead of the Vanilla Corporate America Ideology they have adapted over the past couple decades.. I think that’s one of the main reasons the popularity has died down so much in my opinion..
