Definitely not as exhilerating as last year but anyone saying this was abjectly bad is just being dishonest. If it weren't for Byron being out front this would've been a decently competitive race.

He was plenty good enough to be up there that penalty under 30 laps to go was a killer then to make matters worst no cautions to make up the ground then had to pit for fuel and tires then spun out I think turn 8 that made it impossible to get all the way back to the top 15 even what really sucked about the spin was he gained back about half the positions he lost by serving that bs penalty then the spin just finished him off...

You don't care for a race that harkens to the good old days of NASCAR? Because they have always raced on road courses, even more so in the 1950s and 1960s, back in the day compared to now.

Byron takes lights to flag win at Cota while all other drivers fighting each other for track position, Kyle Bush Furious because Bell sends him around and didn't get a penalty after wards so unrespectful way to race - Kobayashi debut in nascar didn't go as plan, He represented F1 former iconic but get facing the bad Sunday driver's again! Cota at his best but racing like bumper cars only the gibbs group & raptor Byron takes seriously and race like veterans 🤩🏆🍾🏁

Bob Seger - Hollywood Nights She stood there bright as the sun on that California coast He was a Midwestern boy on his own She looked at him with those soft eyes, so innocent and blue He knew right then he was too far from home He was too far from home She took his hand, and she led him along that golden beach They watched the waves tumble over the sand They drove for miles and miles up those twisting turning roads Higher and higher and higher they climbed And those Hollywood nights In those Hollywood hills She was looking so right In her diamonds and frills All those big city nights In those high rolling hills Above all the lights She had all of the skills He'd headed west 'cause he felt that a change would do him good See some old friends, good for the soul She had been born with a face that would let her get her way He saw that face and he lost all control He had lost all control Night after night, day after day, it went on and on Then came that morning, he woke up alone He spent all night staring down at the lights of L.A. Wondering if he could ever go home That was Hollywood nights In those Hollywood hills It was looking so right It was giving him chills In those big city nights In those high rolling hills Above all the lights With a passion that kills In those Hollywood nights In those Hollywood hills She was looking so right In her diamonds and frills All those big city lights In those high rolling hills Above all the lights She had all of the skills Hollywood nights Hollywood hills Above all the lights Hollywood nights Hollywood nights Hollywood hills Above all the lights Hollywood nights Hollywood nights Hollywood hills Above all the lights Hollywood nights Hollywood nights Hollywood hills Above all the lights Hollywood nights Source: Musixmatch Songwriters: Bob Seger Hollywood Nights lyrics © Gear Publishing Company Inc, Gear Publishing Co.
