USAC has a rule that if anyone does a 360 degree spin, the yellow is thrown and they go to the back. It is designed specifically for safety. Open wheel cars are on the edge. The last thing they need is someone trying to regain control and causing more chaos. In fairness, every sanctioning body should do the same thing. If a driver knows that they are going to go to the back, when they spin and cause a yellow, they tend to drive more sanely. Another thing that would cut down on yellow flags is if nascar did away with the lucky dog. In the ays past, it was highly unusual for a driver to unlap himself. Now, a lap down means nothing if it is early in the race. If you can't stay on the lead lap, you need to use some strategy to get your lap back, like staying out on a yellow.

it is an automatic yellow with the USAC Midgets when someone spins, not just a screw up. And Day was referring to Larson as Jesus in a complementary way. Anyone who pays any attention to Midgets/Sprints knows that Larson is the guy to beat every time that he shows up. I appreciate your mentioning it, but don't try to make something out of nothing.

I think it is a mistake for NASCAR to even associate with Netflix. Got to be the worst Movie provider out there. No surprise they did this dumb move. I'm surprised they are still in operation. The movies on there are mostly 3rd rate and lame. I think Day's comment on Larson was an ill chosen term of endearment, not a slam.

The NASCAR mind numb with the habit, people will continue as usual, buying the junk, filling the stands, watching the tube. Very few will walk away; can't, hooked. '50's to 2000 I was a fan, seldom missed a broadcast but tired of constant inconsistency and rule changes plus allowing certain teams (drivers) "to do" while hammering others for minor violations. Thanking Bubba for the die hard wife giving it up.
