I don’t think anything beats it. Everybody on pit road giving high 5s to a competitor. That’s unheard of in racing

@@tritontransportif it took you 20 tries to win the biggest event in NASCAR, then yeah.

@@ultmswag3170 ok if Kyle Busch ends up winning the Daytona 500 this will not happen like it did for Dale Sr. Nobody except his small fan base will even care

One great moment I liked was seeing Jeremy Mayfield win his first career race at Pocono in June 1998 and seeing all the drivers congratulating him on the race track.😊

Hey man, great vid! (I know I'm late to comment) These were perfect examples of respect in NASCAR, I do have a recommendation for if another video like this comes out. The 2001 DuraLube 400 when Jeff Gordon did the missing man formation.

It’s always heartwarming when a driver wins a race that they deserve, help out other drivers, respect other drivers and/or pay tribute to drivers like Dale Sr who are no longer with us

If you ever do one of these again, you should add some Mark Martin in there. My favorite moment of his is when he ran 2nd at Bristol in '09 because he decided NOT to spin Kyle Busch and raced him clean.

There must be a better way to do restarts. It seems set up to cause crashes and keep the stragglers in the competion.
@timechanger9162Ай бұрын
Doing single file wouldn’t be good since people can lay back just a little get a bump etc. double file is just the best way to do it. You sure as hell don’t want them doing 3 by 3 restarts lol
@christophergritti9873Ай бұрын
@timechanger9162 ive seen people laying back on double files too. I think with the single files at least there's less chance for overtime bullfuckery. Of course they could just get rid of OT too, that would solve a lot of problems.
@timechanger9162Ай бұрын
@ I would not get rid of ot but I would be ok with going back to the overtime line. Tired of them throwing the yellow right before the line it’s stupid. But yea idk what else they could do for restarts.

Yep and it’s all NASCAR’s fault in making it so that if you don’t win you’re screwed so you have to drive aggressively.
