One of the greatest independent NASCAR car owners ever this man deserves to be in the Hall of Fame some of the drivers that used to drive for him are already in the Hall of Fame keep up the good work have a good one and God bless

Junie helped many of the greats get their start in Cup and was never bitter over their successes. He knew he did not have the financial support to keep them.

Thank you so much. Junie was my boyhood idol and as a teenager he became my friend, simply because I called his shop and left a message. He returned my call the same day. He was truly the finest man you'll ever know. And that sign off, saying he would do anything for you, I promise it was true for anyone he talked to. He believed the best in everyone no matter what. He will forever be the most pure kind hearted man I will ever know. I miss him so much. Thank you for posting this, listening to him again on the phone brought tears of joy because I never recorded any of my many phone calls or visits with him. Schrader says of his hundreds of wins, his #1 most special win was the Qualifying race at Daytona in '86 "because it was for Mr. Donlavey." God bless you guys.
