To be real, having experienced all 20+ years of the GWC rule, I’d be totally okay with going back to normal finishes within advertised distance. Even if I’m not a fan of a driver, I always feel so icky at the end of a race where the “wrong” driver wins

I feel like there could be a separate video about Ryan Newman losing races

I’m surprised you didn’t include the ‘07 Daytona 500. That almost finish would have seen Mark Martin finally win the Great American Race

The 2023 Daytona 500. RCR vs RFK in the final laps tandem drafting with teammates for a lot of firsts. Kyle Busch, Brad K, and Chris B looking for their first Daytona 500. Austin Dillion the pusher going for his second 500. and then caution for Daniel Suarez on the front stretch. Which then leads to Ricky winning his first 500

You’re really freaking good at making videos! I used to like overtime, but this season really has ruined it for me.

Nice to see a Nascar fan up north. Great videos too. I do have an issue with one small part of this one. The only thing that makes Chastain's driving style "aggressive" and not "exciting," is his pedigree. He got where he is by being a driver who could do more with nothing than anybody else could in a pay to play world. He made the now filing bankruptcy Johnny Davis Racing an Xfinity playoff team. If DC Solar hadn't screwed Chastain, Ganassi and Nascar (and lots and lots of other people) he'd have been competing in Cup 6 years ago. But the sponsorship, not the driver, fell through. And when Ross does the same things Hendrick & Gibbs drivers do, it's a problem. Rick Hendrick shouldn't be in a position to give anyone a talking to, in any walk of life, about anything, unless he's volunteering to prison outreach. He's a crook(read: convicted felon) who bought a pardon from Clinton and didn't serve prison time because of leukemia.

Not the point of the video but I forgot how crazy that curb problem was at Indy. Last few years have had some of the weirdest track incidents like multiple signs falling on the track late in the race.

Hate these type of finishes, deserving winner does a better job than everyone else just to get robbed by someone who needed an Ot finish to win

You mean someone got up on the wheel and caught "rightful winner" sleeping..no you win when you cross the finish line with checkers waving....
