The race you are about to see appear as originally broadcast and may contain imagery that is offensive and doesn't align with NASCAR's values. NASCAR has since permanently banned the display of the confederate flag at all events.

The Hawaiian tropic car reminds me of the movie Cannon ball run 😂. Watching these old races is way better than the current nascar.

Looking more closely,Ralph Jones stayed in his lane as the leaders were going around him while Pond didn't stay high and came down on Jones causing that wreck..Pond likely thought he had cleared Jones when coming down but miscalculated....

I really miss these cars. Today's stuff is cramped & they beat the crap out of you on any trip plus are extremely expensive allround. Except for Waltrip's crazy crash, these drivers are courteous.

I'm glad Waltrip's driving got a little better ... it Sucked at this race.

I like how in the crash that brokenthe pit wall, the guy with the fire extinguisher threw it down instead of working on the fire before working to get the guy out. That shortsighted move could have gotten the driver killed.
