scream it from the mezzanine i don’t give a damn!! shout it from the rooftops i am what I am! taste my colors sparky. eat my hard resistance. this is my declaration of contempt and cold indifference. the green queen may muse of a morn, but what’s the use? it’s only pain and abuse. and we are not amused! ounce by ounce i renounce! clumsily, i live in-deliberate and reclusive, derivative and indecisive. what does any of this have to do with anything? and what does that even mean? love, david 👑

Yes that's one of the things the printed word gives - the poem can have a life beyond the author. But there's nothing to match a good author reading..... as here with BC.

If truth is beauty, why do poet laureates say nothing of the big cheat in mid north america and the father of the all of them -- Robert Bly -- somewhere beyond our cuteness of the english phrase.
