This is true for me. Saturn is my chart ruler square sun. I find people my age and younger can just breeze through their career and get what they want whereas I have never thought my goals were attainable without a lifetime of drudging through the mud 🤣 only after covid i had the realisation that things can be much easier than my mental settings would have me believe. I love and value hard work but it needs to have a worthy pay off!

One very important isue related to this position is the relationship between the native and his/her father (because Saturn represents the father). I can tell from my own experience that it´s so difficult and harmfull to have this aspect: My father, even thou he worked very hard to support the family, was like the policeman, procurator, judge and punisher for me and my siblings. But because I was the older one I always paid the worst consecuences !!! He never rewarded me for been the best student of my class or for finishing the university getting 2 tittles only in 4 years (when it normally takes 6 years) and having to work at the same time !!! But whenever I had a failure in anything he was the only one who dare to critisize me and/or mock me and so he did until the end of his life. I always felt like if he was my nemesis because he knew me very well including my weak points and never doubted to hit me exactly there where it hurts the most, knowing that I´ll never hit back because I always respected him !!! The day that he died I cried so sourly because then there was no possibility left that I could ever hear the words " I love you son." from him !!! I still cry when I realize it !!!

I don't know how you do it jewel. I've read so many. Books, poems, articles. Listened to more music than anybody I know. Many of them skated along the peripheries of what you just said but none said it as directly and as spot on as you did. This is perhaps the biggest burden of indignation I've been carrying with me for a long time. Decades ago, long before there was anything out there in the internet. And when the internet and KZbin finally came and I learned about astrology, I researched tirelessly about this aspect mainly because it's at the center of my existence. The feeling of people just going through life swimmingly while I have to work awful hard just to move an inch. It's always felt unjust. Like being in the middle of wrongs while everybody else has it right. Right and easy. It's excruciating and tiring and depleting. I should be feeling raging mad for all that pent up frustration that has just been stirred anew. But listening to you, someone who finally gets it right, after years and years of searching and researching on my part, I just feel a great sense of catharsis and gratitude. And looking at the comments section, one learns that he's never alone, which is what this aspect can also make you feel many times. That there's a community of people there who had gone through the same themes somehow. I just want to thank you jewel. You probably have no idea what level your empathy is but it's so spot on. When things get better one day, I'll be able to afford a reading with you. In the mean time thank you so much for what you do. Cheers!

This is a tough one and you do work hard for it growing up but I've seen this lighten up as I got older. You become your own authority and it can be good to have your own business otherwise others will try to pressure you too much. Self-care is also important because the body takes on a lot of stress with this one. Very good advice about learning to incorporate play and making sure to have some fun because your family of origin & authority figures will definitely not give you those messages growing up.

Exactly what I feel. I have saturn square my sun /Mc and my mercure too. I have this such a feeling to not have the career and job that I should have. I am really hard working but everytime something work against me. And I just want to quit and give up. But in the same time I couldn't (because I need money, saturn in my 2nd house) I have many problem of self-esteem because I see many peoples evolve and upgrade in their career but not me... Yessss i've been waiting for this one for so long! I have this aspect as part of a grand cross with Jupiter and Chiron, and it'll be the death of me. I think it's also connected to my health issues. I was diagnosed with Celiac, Osteoporosis, Fibromyalgia, a bleeding disorder, Ehlors Danlos Syndrome, Gastroparesis all in my late teens and early 20s and it's a big part of not being able to get what I want-feeling trapped in my own body. But a bigger reason is my limiting myself, not even going after what I really want out of fear that I'll never get it and make a fool of myself trying. Not deserving it.

i hate this aspect . i have the square . virgo sun conjucnt my south node . square saturn 2h. im the only one whos self sufficient in my family but also the one who struggles most . i feel like this bring depression too altho saturn does sit with my moon its not close in degrees. my confidence suffers alot and i turn down opportunities because i feel undeserving or doubt my capabilities. my sun is also 12h. with mercury. would sun inconjunct saturn similar to the square. my sun is in libra in 4th house.My sun is also intercepted extreme identity issues and eelf esteem is rock bottom. my saturn ia retrograde in 9th house Pisces. It affects how i think i can be very pessimistic and waiting for the rug to be ripped out of me. step father was very crictical of me emotional and too hard on me.
