It's always funny when native English speakers mention how confusing Korean conjugation is when it's really a piece of cake for romance languages speakers 🤣 Your videos are great it's really inspirational to see you work hard to reach your goals 💕 you help me so much to stay motivated learning Korean to get a second masters there 🙏🙏

@@NataliaGarza i do law (that was one first mistake ahah) and in France I need a master's degree at least!! to become a lawyer 😔 but I also don't see myself reaching my professional goals without studying in Korea and the exchange student programs don't have partner universities that are reputable for their law degrees so it's not worth it That's complicated ahaha 🤠 But seeing you study hard like this is a huge hugeee motivation boost 🥺!!!

@@camillem4007 Hey, it's been a long time since this comment, but I studied law in France too (a mistake for me too 😬 ) so I kinda felt connected. I hope you reached you goals and found a way to study in Korea 🤞

안녕하세요~!! I discover your channel yesterday, and I’m so hooked! I’ve been learning Korean for a bit over a year (though the first year was more dabbling in it than studying) and I’m finally super motivated to improve and your videos are helping a lot to plan my future study sessions :) I’ve been learning though Duolingo with howtostudyKorean website as a supplement, and now I’m doubting if it will be good enough to reach an lower intermediate level. I’m just not sure about using multiple sources at once? Especially since the order of topics is different. I’m thinking of buying the textbooks once I finish Unit 5 (which is the last one of beginner level I think) but I thought I’d ask your opinion since you are more experienced in learning Korean. Sorry for the long ass message ㅋㅋㅋ Anyway, have a Happy New Year!

5:33 correct! we don't use a particle to indicate a sentence is a question or not in Korean or English, However one small correction: you can use a non-question ending to indicate it is a question in Korean, but this is not available in every level of politeness/formality because it is not a particle, it's just one form of polite conjugation: 습니까? vs 습니다. ex: 학생 입니까? vs 학생 입니다. but I do not know any Chinese or Japanese. so that is cool new info to me that there is a particle that can indicate if something is a question :)

Hi! I have just started "dipping my toes" into learning Korean, but I am struggling with memorising words because of the alphabet... what tip do you have for that? I am a visual learner, but for some reason the words dont resonate with me as it is just a bunch of lines, circles and other characters, and I guess you have to associate them with sounding them out. I saw some tips to make associations, but they were still all based on "sound of the word" and not the look ( eg. 집 - to be associated with a picture of the jeep in front of the houe) I hope you know what I mean. Do you have any advice for that?
