Haute couture outfits are expensive not because of the material but because of the amount of work, individual sizing, own formulas, customized solutions, fixing every detail by hand and finishing. Of course, when the price goes up because of the work, then high-quality materials are used because their contribution to the whole doesn't change much anymore, valuable it is but also art.

You also kinda inspired me making a last minute Eras tour outfit - my initial outfit didn't work out and even the shoes didn't arrive in time, I was so sad and about to give up and just wear something boring, but then made a glittery 1989 fit on the morning of my show. I kept thinking about your red carpet dress in under 24hrs vlog (that was so inspiring) and then I just gaslighted myself into thinking I could finish something in 2 hours 😂(I'm really bad at sewing) And it worked ✨
