I have always loved best the music of the Symphony. Your Mums beautiful composition is a wonderful inspiration to me. I have never been so touched. I was finally unable to care for my Mum after she broke her hip in May of this year. My mum is 87 next month. I am living in the shadow of my own guilt. But Natalie is truely wonderful. I wish her a delightful Birthday.

80-year-old Australian Natalie Trailing lives in Melbourne. For decades, a woman played music on the streets of this city, but real glory came to her only recently. When her son Natalie posted a video of her performance on the Web, people around the world were surprised at the skill of performing an elderly pianist. During her life, Natalie had to go through a lot of shocks, but the love of music every time served as her salutary anchor. Today, the woman has become a lively city landmark. When it appears on the square, people are preparing to hear first-class music! At one time, Natalie played all the publicly available pianos in the city. It could be seen in large supermarkets where these tools stood. When a woman lived in a local hotel, she would sit at the piano more often than the musician who worked there. Well, in libraries she was a frequent visitor at all. Natalie once had a family and many children. However, the death of two daughters forever changed the life of a woman. Due to health problems, she lost her job, and later the house. For a while, the pianist simply wandered through the streets of Melbourne in the company of other homeless people. Fortunately, now most of her problems are over. Thanks to her son, the gray-haired musician not only gained a home, but also gained considerable fame. Natalie fascinates people with her selfless talent: a woman not only plays, but also writes music herself! At the time, the pianist received a classical music education. A woman confesses: she still clearly remembers the moment when for the first time when she was still a small child she touched keys. “For me, life and music are one,” admits Natalie. When recently a musician had to go to the hospital, she did not stop practicing even there. Doctors were amazed by an unusual patient. The pianist herself did not see anything strange in her behavior. Natalie just can not live without music! Today, a woman has acquired her own instrument, which appears on the streets of Melbourne. Her open-air concerts last a long time and gather a lot of listeners. Residents of the city are always ready to listen to the game of this unusual pianist. The son of a gray-haired performer, supporting the mother in all his endeavors, says that during the performance Natalie completely goes into music. Creativity is everything for her. Do not have a woman this talent, and the troubles of life would long ago have broken her spirit. However, the music allowed Natalie to overcome all the difficulties and become famous, despite her age!

When I filmed this some time back, I felt, well was hoping that maybe the world would sit back and listen to one of, if not the best 'unknown composer' in the world today (my mum 'Natalie') Well it seems the world 'is' listening and rightly so. This is just 'one' of her compositions. And it appears to be going 'viral' on KZbin. There are many more that I would call absolute master pieces. Pending the right time, you will be introduced to those, but in the meantime...enjoy the 'now'. Matty

I made a comment 12 days ago after observing the dramatically increasing views on KZbin of this video I filmed an uploaded of Natalie (my mum) that reaching 100,000 views would be a wonderful gift for her 80th Birthday being tomorrow. Well.....it seems at this stage (884,272 views) that it might just make "ONE MILLION" at some stage during the day. This is not just phenomenal..it's rightly earned by her. The world is listening, and not just listening to an old lady playing piano on the street, but listening to musical genius. I made a comment that it seems is not just my 'bios' opinion, but is a shared belief the world over..and I quote myself "Arguably the best 'unknown' composer in the world today" Happy Birthday my dear Mother. The world is now listening and so are your two only daughters (Jo-Anne and Kerin) listening from heaven A gift to the world is now being realized.

It is one thing to be capable of playing a piano to this standard..there must be many thousands of people who can. But to be capable of creating a piece of music with the emotional impact of this one is quite a different matter, and I suspect,a very rare thing. Wouldn't it be lovely if someone of influence arranged for it to be properly scored and we finally saw Natalie walk out on stage in front of a full orchestra to take her place at a Steinway and play this, her creation. This remarkable lady deserves no less !

This made me cry!!! So much emotion in this piece. It really made me think of suspense and love and loss and happiness. Each section really invoked a different emotion. It would have been perfect for a silent movie or stage production. You really can feel the emotion she put into writing every note of this beautiful performance. I can't wait to see more videos.

Fantastic! I, too, thought she was homeless, but, after reading the comments, I am glad to see that she does indeed have a home. The joy she is giving others, as well as me, I awesome. God bless! I would love to see her dressed in a lovely gown and playing on a nice stage in a warm environment. But perhaps she prefers to give her talents to passersby, some of whom cannot afford to pay high prices for a concert.

Arguably the best 'unknown' composer in the world today...unknown? She might just be getting there. Life....tis a beautiful thing when music sits beside it...and then..'the two become one. Love to you all from Natalie (and me of course). :)

Sorry if I accidentally deleted some comments. For some silly reason I get this "warning", 'some comments are hidden as they are probably spam'. In allowing those, I might have accidentally deleted them. If I have, feel free to comment again. (don't you love computer stuff?). Love to you all, from Natalie and myself.
