Natalie Imbruglia 'I Wouldn't Be Here If Not for Neighbours' | This Morning

It’s been 27 years since Natalie Imbruglia released her smash-hit song ‘Torn’, which had racked up a huge 500 million streams. Yet Natalie has no signs of slowing down, performing all over the UK during festival season this summer. After rocking the Isle of Wight festival last month, this weekend she’s supporting the mighty Shania Twain at British Summer Time. Natalie’s joining us live in the studio to tell us all about it plus the former Neighbours star can explain why after all these years Australia is still home - and where she’ll spend her time when she eventually retires.

She is far more talented than she is given credit for. She is a criminally under-rated vocalist (saw her open for Simply Red in 2015 and she was fantastic). Furthermore, the mainstream narrative that repeatedly reduces her legacy to "Torn" is old and wildly inaccurate. Songs such as "Lukas", "Standing there", and "Wrong Impression" are her true highlights.
