Up close and personal version of These are Days at The Greek Theater on July 16, 2017. Along with a nice slideshow at the end.

This is Natalie. 25 years ago she picked me up & through me around the room & she still does.. What a fucking stunning artist. Stayed true.. I truly love this artist.. When i'm up I look for her music & when i'm down I look for her music.. The one constant in my life is her music

I have followed her music from when she was a young slim, darker haired lass in 10000 Maniacs and even when she went out on her own. She was beautiful back then. BUT DAMNED she gets more beautiful with age. Her music is truly timeless.

I first saw Natalie Merchant with the 10,000 Maniacs in 1986 at a free show at my university. We chatted afterwards, she signed the record (Secrets of the I Ching) I purchased for $5.00 and I knew, truly knew she would become the star that she is. Beauty, charisma, music and intelligence has radiated from her for decades.

There are only a handful of singers that are truly captivating,,, and Natalie is at the top of the list. She has drawn me in, and held me captive ever since the 10,000 Maniacs.

@optionsspecialist12146 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the upload. The Greek has gotten to be so saturated with tourists. More and more people are in the area. It’s an all day thing to get there. In short, I appreciate the upload. I love her, however; not enough for me to go through all the trouble with the trek.
@nickyshamrock32796 жыл бұрын
I absolutely don't think anybody missed you not being there. Get there early, if you know the neighborhood and all is good. If not...it is what it is. One of the most beautiful venues on the west coast.
@optionsspecialist12146 жыл бұрын
Nicky Shamrock Nicky boy. Calm down. Just an observation- I recall seeing the dodgers play this same weekend. Pick your battles, while I pick my venues. Ironically, it may very well be sitting next to each other in the future. Wait. I’ll be in the front row.

It would be absolutely amazing if James Corden did a carpool Karaoke with Natalie Merchant. I'd love to see her and that voice sing at the top of her lungs in a car with James. Would probably draw crowd from blocks away with the windows up. She's still got it. Don't let this performance fool you!

This band doesn't play the song as well as 10,000 Maniacs, and the singer in 10,000 Maniacs doesn't perform as well as Natalie.
@catherineking35 жыл бұрын
Haha that's for sure! Gawd - give her a little soul backup there boys, wouldja?!
@johnshotwell38035 жыл бұрын
Her band was disappointing in their performance. The song needs Jerry driving it, few drummers can match his energy when performing it. The song would become truly transcendental when Rob Buck was playing it!
