Forty years after Hollywood star Natalie Wood died in a mysterious manner aboard a yacht, her sister, Lana Wood, says she knows how it happened.
Natalie Wood started acting young. She played the precocious Santa Claus skeptic in “Miracle on 34th Street” at just 8 years old. She went on to act in at least 28 films, including “West Side Story” where she played the leading female role of Maria.
Wood would go on to win four Golden Globes and three Oscars before drowning at the age of 45 during a boat outing with her husband, Robert Wagner.

@ Paul McWilliams. You are using the wrong term. Robert Wagner should be charged with manslaughter not murder in the death of Natalie Wood. The State of California has, in my opinion, sufficient evidence to arrest and prosecute Robert Wagner for manslaughter. He undoubtedly did not intend to kill her, but in a fit of rage under the influence of alcohol accidentally killed her! That would be manslaughter not murder. The State of California should let an unbiased jury in a criminal court of law decide whether or not Robert Wagner killed Natalie Wood!

Lana has tried for years to get RJ to speak to authorities. An innocent person would be assisting. RJ is impeding the investigation. He should be charged with contempt and forced to complete interviews with law enforcement. What happened that night is WRONG!! All the way around. Davern needs to be charged with contempt and charged with perjury for his initial lies to law enforcement. He is an accessory after the fact. The Court needs to serve RJ with an Order to Compel and force him to answer questions regarding Natalie’s death. It is reprehensible that he’s been allowed to stone wall for all these years.

Why didn't the autopsy determine whether she was alive or dead when went in the water? Think am autopsy can determine that by whether she took in water or not. Or perhaps that isn't possible if person took a sleeping pill? What was Captain's 1st story version? In 2nd he said he heard them escalating the argument. HOW MUCH TIME PASSED BETWEEN LAST hearing her voice and his arrival to see RW alone? I've heard that NW couldn't swim {and was afraid of water?}. There's no way she'd go off in a dinghy by herself, and at night. And if RW were innocent, he wouldn't have let her go, AND he would've looked for her with Captain and searchlight. I've read the book "Natalie Wood" by Sue Finstad which she said that Natalie was raped by an "Actor /Producer", she did not name him but did say that during the attack he said "I always wanted to f**k a teenager." As far as her death is I really believe it was just an accident. I believe that if Robert Wagner wanted to kill someone that night it would have been Christopher Walken, just like he almost killed Warren Beatty. After their divorce he heard that Natalie was seeing a lot of Warren and Wagner wrote in his book that he was in his car with a gun waiting for Beatty to walk out of his house and he was determined to shot him. Wagner's problem was jealously and booze but he wouldn't kill the one he loved. The day before she died he bought her a $5000.00 diamond necklace while on Catalina. If Robert Wagner wanted to kill Natalie it would had been in 1961 when she woke up in the middle of the night and found Robert wasn't in bed. She walked through the house and found him having sex with the butler, David Cavindish, she caught her husband in the act with a man, this man was Wagner's "Butler" for years ever before he married Natalie. He didn't kill her then but they did divorce so not to ruin his career. Or both their careers.

That's like someone who begging to be a suspect. Does that make sense? C. Lana is basing her theory on Dennis's ammended (reversed) story. His story was very different at the time it happened. Perhaps his long term memory is better than his short term memory.... 🙄. Since he has given contradicting versions of what happened we know for a fact that one of the versions is a lie. A narcassicist who is Hollywood royalty kills someone in a fit of rage and then deals with the details later. Which he did and got away with it. He is old school. There are plenty of people that use to cover up these things for the stars. Also, he made it as confusing for them at the time as it is now. So they can't say he definitely killed her because they didn't see him do it. They are basically saying all the circumstances leading up to it make it likely he did it and that is where we are at now. Going by all the evidence we have been given he definitely should have been put on trial. He has been caught lying regarding the wine bottle. Why lie about your fit of rage if you aren't guilty.

So I think on that there were a. Physical fight between Natalie and RJ and she walked out of the room and into the dingy drunk and fell asleep and RJ saw her in asleep and untied the dingy for it to float and Natalie woken up later on in a fright and not knowing what to do as she was scared of the water but trying to get back she would of fell out and drowned but I do think RJ was responsible cuz he was very jealous of her

The yacht captain had quite the tale to tell too. I don't think he "loved" her he was jealous of Walken and her stardim they argued some think she was already dead before she went overboard. Then he refused to let the captain even search for her just poured another drink did not care.

I tend to agree with you. Drinking to the point of stupidity can lead to death, injury and a lifetime of loss and heartache. I don't stay around drunks for long. I don't give a dam who they are. I refuse to place myself in possible injury, or death. Anyone can be dangerous when drunk.

@@LAKSHMIANGELES No, she hadn't taken her sleeping pill. She had some anti-seasickness medication, a very small amount. Her blood-alcohol level was illegal for driving but reasonable at a social drinking level.
