I have to agree about the Geisha look, it shows how she's hiding herself from being hurt again but maybe also how much she has opened her heart for the person she loved (friend or lover) trying to be the best for that person. One of the better videoclips...it shows that there's no need for outrageous outfits or special effects..this is so much more down to earth and real. And right now i'm not even talking about the song. To those who are saying it's racist that she is dressing up as a geisha are downright stupid. There is nothing wrong with expressing something through another culture. Just because she isn't in total western attire in that scene doesn't mean that she is racist. It would be considered intensely racist is she was asian and dressed up in a fancy European dress and someone said that she shouldn't dress like that due to it being offensive. Having another culture influence how you may dress/look is not racist. That's how a geisha looks whether you like it or not.
