How To Make Italian PASTA SALAD with Homemade ITALIAN DRESSING

This Italian pasta salad recipe is loaded with fresh and colorful vegetables, cheese, salami, and homemade Italian dressing. Toss with your favorite pasta to create an unforgettable dish.

ITALIAN PASTA SALAD INGREDIENTS:
►8 oz Rotini Pasta (can also use tri-color)
►6 oz Salami, sliced into strips
►10 oz Cherry tomatoes, halved (3 cups or 1 pint)
►1/2 English Cucumber, diced
►1/2 medium Red Onion, diced
►8 oz Fresh Mozzarella Pearls (or mozzarella balls halved)
►1/2 cup Black Olives, pitted and sliced
►1/2 cup Kalamata olives, pitted and halved
►1/2 cup Roasted Red Peppers, coarsely chopped
►1/3 cup parsley, finely chopped
►1 cup Italian Dressing
ITALIAN DRESSING INGREDIENTS:
►½ cup extra virgin olive oil
►3 Tbsp white wine vinegar
►1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
►1 Tbsp mayonnaise
►1 tsp granulated sugar
►1 garlic clove finely grated or pressed
►1/2 tsp dried oregano
►1/2 tsp dried parsley

The salad and dressing look awesome. To cut the tomatoes quickly take two plates that have raised rims on bottom and flip one upside down, place tomatoes inside rim and place 2nd plate right side up over tomatoes. Now you can hold top plate and place knife between rims and slice through tomatoes.

This was crazy good! Probably the best pasta salad I've ever made. I use cider vinegar ( using about 1/3 cup) instead of wine vinegar. Also I just added the shredded parmesan directly to the salad itself. Since I had flat leaf parsley in the refrigerator I used that instead of the dried. I never thought of putting a little bit of mayonnaise in my salad dressing but I think it helps the dressing stick to the pasta and veggies a little better. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe! I'll be making this again and again.

This is the best pasta salad I've ever tasted! I had to change up a few ingredients because that's what I had on hand. I used Rotini pasta, pepperoni, and green olives, and for my dressing I mixed up a package of Zesty Italian dressing and added the mayo and grated fresh parm. My mom absolutely loves this and I can just sit and eat it by the bowl with nothing else, lol. This salad is never-ending goodness! The second time I made it, I used red wine vinegar instead of white and used dijon mustard and honey instead of mayonnaise and sugar. Omg, it’s so good! Natasha,I saw a quick way to slice cherry tomatoes....lay a round plastic lid over the tomatoes to keep them in place and use a serrated knife to 'slide' under the lid cutting through the tomatoes. It helps if the lid is clear so you can see underneath. A cool whip size lid or a smaller round lid works. Hope this helps! Love watching your videos!

I'm not usually a fan of pasta salad, but this is AMAZING. I had some Italian dressing in the frig and wanted to use it up. But I'm going to make this again today and I will be making your salad dressing. A quick way to slice cherry tomatoes, I saw this on TV. Gather the tomatoes and cover them with a dessert plate to hold them still and place your knife under the plate and slice away. You can probably see it on KZbin for a better explanation. And your hair is so cute when you wear it up. Very pretty.
