Brian’s stealing first base has to be my favorite story. Watching Nate and Aaron laugh as hard as they did was fun to watch

Watching Bryan's big announcement brought tears to my eyes. Even though I knew it was coming, have seen it before, and--since I watched it two years after the fact--knew what was coming the first time I watched it. It wasn't the announcement itself; it was the genuine joy that the other two had for their friend. It was so sweet. ❤

Although, this begs the question: why wasn't Aaron's big announcement included? 🤔

The First Episode was released a week before my daughter was born. I even remember watching it in the hospital while waiting for my wife to give birth. In the midst of all the fear and chaos four years ago, Nateland and my daughter’s birth were reminders to me that everything was going to be okay. Happy 4th Birthday, folks!

Hello Folks! The early story of Bazinga "Worried" Bates will always bring me to tears laughing. Thanks for the walk down memory lane! One of my new Nateland Mt. Rushmore moments is Dusty at the Predators game. Can't tell you how many times I've watched that clip. I think the multiple year best of has been the format for past few years. I'd love a stand alone "best of" from the past 52 episodes for next year. Like a "best of season 4 or 5" etc.

45:10 this was SUCH GOOD EDITING. Ep 37 he had it, Ep 38 it was gone. To Nate's credit, the way he describes and kinda illustrates his difficulty reading is often quite poetic.

What a wonderful surprise to sit down for lunch and pull up the Nateland channel and see THIS!!! Wow, it's been 4 years, time fly's when you're having fun, for sure! I cannot believe it’s been 4 years. I think I discovered it on episode 5, quickly caught up and have watched all of them countless times. At the end of this best-of, when it blurred and faded out as usual, I was suddenly struck by the dread of when the day comes eventually for the final episode to air. I had never thought about that before, and it’s incredible what a big hole that will leave in my life. What a blessing it has been to me through some extremely hard years! 🤍

I forgot how funny Nate found Breakfast’s stealing first story. He lost it! Nate rarely breaks, and that time was perfect. His reaction is somehow better than the story itself - and it’s a hilarious story. Thanks for this episode, I’m reliving so many of my favorite moments from the show. Also Aaron’s “Nobody’s ever made that mistake before!” On the Civilian Stations episode was classic. He kind of laugh-cry-whispers it, but it is so important.

My husband and I drove to Huntsville to see Nate several years ago and were introduced to Brian. His Predator joke was amazing, and since then there are few disagreements that don't end in one of us saying some version of "I'm the biggest Predator you ever saw!" Love the podcast, it always makes us laugh. PS On the Nateland podcast About Me page, it cycles through pictures of each of you, and on your picture it has your name. Except Dusty. It's just him waving, nameless, like the new guy in web design who somehow accidentally inserted a picture of him then panicked when he couldn't remove it and didn't want to get in trouble so he just told no one.
