Josh and Jane’s comment couldn’t have come at a better time on a better episode. Good job to Brainiac on strategically making sure it was read first. Right after their comment talks about how enjoyable the podcast is because of the clean content, we hear about bowels and breasts, Nate’s choice to say an out of character word instead of “snitch” or “firetruck” (??), how cool smoking is, and we hear Nate’s least favorite word -suck- all within 20 minutes. Nateland at its finest. This podcast really puts a perk in anyone’s mid-week slump. Love it so much!!

So much talk about working clean and I'm glad. I am reminded of a class in Bible college where a student was complaining about having to enroll in an English and Composition class. The prof had the best answer. He said: "Good grammar never offends the uneducated. Bad grammar always offends the educated. Therefore, always use good grammar." I think this advice applies to working clean, too. Tawdry language is offensive to some, but clean language offends no one. Therefore, always work clean. (How'd you like that tawdry word, Tate? In episode #67 (8:45) while talking about the names of Nate’s last two specials at the time (The Tennessee Kid & The Greatest Average American), Aaron points out how each one progresses in size (first a state, then a country). They joke around that maybe a the next special will be named after a planet. Little do they know that Nate’s next special would be called Hello World. If Nate’s next special doesn’t reference the solar system in the title, I’ll have to lean in and say is “Enough.” I was at the recording of Hello World and it was great. Love seeing Nate slowly become famous and getting to overshadow any cool stories Aaron and Barnacle Boy has to share about their weekend.

My husband did a year stint as a UPS delivery driver. They were also told to avoid backing up at all costs... even if it meant parking five blocks away from the delivery spot. They were VERY serious about it and had a monitor in the delivery truck that would keep track of how many times you backed up in a week or month. If you were being a rebel, and backing up too much you got a "talking to".

Hey Bear! As much as I loved the Turkey vs Baboon discussion, and agree with the results (baboons can’t be trusted). I believe what Aaron took for a turkey in the picture, is actually a Cassowary. In regards to the hole-in-one talk; It's very noble of Nate to not count his Par 3 course ace towards his total, true hole-in-one etiquette on display. Considering the odds of an ace being 1 in 12,500, a foot away from a Lambo is not bad at all.

If par 3s exist on regular courses, why is it a faux pas claim a hole in one on a par 3 course?
@ScratchGolfTips Жыл бұрын
@@chanlerraper It's often perceived as "easier" to make a hole-in-one on a Par 3 course because not only are their more opportunities to make a hole-in-one (only 4 par 3s on most 18 hole courses) , but the holes are usually shorter.

Hot take on the Turkey vs Baboon argument. So I work for a bus company in Atlanta and one time last september we had a turkey fly across the highway in front of one of our buses and come crashing through the windshield, showering the driver and some of the passengers in broken glass. So while I cant say for sure how a baboon would handle a turkey, I can say that a turkey vs a 32,000lb vehicle is almost an even match up. So my money is on the turkey. (PS: the turkey died in the hospital three days later due to covid complications)
