When Nate talked about the kids on the table in the 4 story Starbucks, I lost it!! As a Mom who raised 3 boys (who are now grown men), I remember a fun day when we had lunch at Taco Bell. As I finished paying, I looked back and saw our middle son, then 4 standing on the table. In my strongest Mom voice, I asked,"What are you doing standing on the table". He replied with arms outstretched - Seinfeld Style - "I'm not standing on the table, Im getting ready to jump! Clearly, I had interrupted a well thought out, strategic plan. When Aaron talked about having the two Big Mac meal, it reminded me that when I worked at a movie theater, we had a brochure with a coupon on the back for McDonald’s where you would buy one Big Mac meal and get a free Big Mac. One weekend, I worked 3 10 hour shifts, and used that coupon twice each day, meaning I put away 12 Big Macs, 6 fries and 6 cokes in less than 72 hours.

I recently was the officiant of the wedding for my best friend of 30 years and his wife. The groom, bride and myself have been saying "hey bear" to each other for some time now (funny enough, it started unrelated to the podcast) So instead of thinking of my own words to open with, I stole from the Nateland podcast and opened with "Well, Hello Folks. And Hey Bear" - it crushed. (We also rewatched the Tennessee kid together late night at his bachelor party and were legitimately hurting from laughing so hard) Thanks for all the laughs. Love you guys and the pod

I enjoyed it as a kid and now get to enjoy it with my kids.

I just had surgery Aug 30 @Centennial Women’s Center. My husband, Darryl, and I watch the podcast ALL the time. We have seen all the episodes. My favorite female comedian is Leanne Morgan, who has also been on podcast a few times. While I was in recovery, I was a little loopy and was loudly telling the nurse that was at my bed and anyone within hearing range that they all needed to watch the Nate Bargatze podcast called Nateland and also needed to watch Leanne Morgan. Just finished this weeks’ episode with Leanne and was blown away when Nate mentioned French Lick!! We live in Paoli which is the county seat of Orange County, 11 miles down the road from French Lick. Kate is a school counselor but waits tables part time at the hotel in French Lick. Our son, Isaiah is awaiting his answer from IU Med School, and in the meantime is bartending at French Lick and our younger son, Caleb caddies at the Pete Dye Course at French Lick when he’s home from school at Indiana. I grew up here and would love to see Nate and the boys make a visit to the OC!! It’s not Australia or Alaska, but we like it.

Good morning and Hey Bear! When Aaron put his hands around his eyes similar to holding binoculars he was doing a good thing to improve vision. Our eyes naturally adjust to the light levels in the environment and if you put your hands around your eyes in such a manner your pupils will open a little more to adjust thus widening your field of view and making whatever you're looking at a bit clearer. Cheers, Rick Sanford, III

I listened to this podcast while running 12.4 miles in the final preparation for my second half marathon on September 17th and was literally able to laugh through the pain. It gave me something to pass the time as well as a time goal to finish (which I just barely made). I'm going to need a podcast on September 13th that is exactly 2 hours and 20 minutes because my goal is to finish quicker than that. If you're looking for a topic my friends and I play a game called "Don't even get me started!" where someone throws out a random topic and someone has to go on a crazy rant about it (which you guys already do). For example: Marshmallows... "Don't even get me started on marshmallows. First off, why are they always white? It's 2023 get with the program marshmallows, secondly the bags they come in, why aren't they resealable, I only wanted one marshmallow now I'm stuck eating the whole bag while I drink my wine LIKE I'M THE PROBLEM!"... You guys are the best and thank you for getting me through running half marathons, I don't know if I could have done it without you.

My husband and I were at Nate’s show last year in Monterey. The lady next to me started talking to me and ended up comparing herself to me since I’m a stay-at-home mom and shes unemployed and has a puppy. Then further in the conversation it came out that I homeschool my kids and then she continued to say she’s also a homeschooler because she’s teaching her puppy to be a dog. She talked so much I had to watch the special to fill in the parts I missed. Needless to say, having a pet and being a parent to humans is not the same. Also, don’t talk when Nate is on stage.
