I absolutely love everything about you. Laughter is the best medicine! On my 53rd bday and after my parents are in heaven. I found out I have an older sister. I have 6 brothers and me and my brothers have always thought I was the only girl? When you talked about the 50's or 60's life literally was different when it comes to rights. Women didn't have a lot to say at the time. I am happy to say I did meet my older sister for the first time last October. She looks exactly like my mom but some of my brothers are having problems accepting her. My mom and my brothers are twins, my cousins are twins and there are several twins in the family. Life is crazy and we have to learn to take life as it comes and except the way it comes out. Life is a crazy train and we just have to take that train and hope we land at the right destination. Life is great if we keep an open mind.

I used to work for Enterprise Rent A Car and we used to explain that we charged high prices for gas because someone has to fill it up. That is B.S. though. I did not make that much money and it takes 5 to 10 mins to fill a car with gas. They charge that much because people are willing to pay for it. People who have time are going to go fill it up themselves and are not willing to pay any extra for gas. If you are in a cruch or need to catch a flight and dont have time to fill it up, you become very price insensitive. Also people who are wealthy highly value their time and are not price sensitive. That is why gas is $6.00 a gallon at rental car places.

@michaeljensen22694 жыл бұрын
The rubberband around the wrist is widely used as gay conversion therapy lol! Of course this doesn't work, but I could imagine it was big 10 years ago... The idea is that you pull the band every time you have a "bad thought" and let it snap on your wrist, conditioning you to associate the thoughts with something negative. Please bring this up on your next episode haha

Brian probably shouldn't use the word doppelgänger in front of Nate. The term twin, clone, copycat, or look-a-like seem more his speed. Congrats to Nate for recognizing context clues to guess its meaning. :)

Since twins are often smaller, they sometimes didn't survive 50-60-plus years ago. But yes, older parents often produce twins, etc. Plus all the fertility treatments.

1. Can you please clarify when you introduce Aaron that it's Weber with 1 B? I get so confused if you're talking about the comedian or the basketball player. 2. (since I was like 2.5 episodes behind) I need some advice on the doctor conversation... I wanted to see my doctor (who I had only seen like 3 times because my doctors keep retiring), but the scheduler says, "oh, you're doctor isn't available for like 2.5 weeks. But we have this other guy, he's available tomorrow afternoon." So I'm thinking, well why is my doc so popular that he's booking out 2.5 weeks and do I really want to see this other guy if he's so terrible that nobody wants to see him? But I was feeling pretty sick, so I went to see the guy that nobody wants to see. And he was bad. He was like reading in a book as I'm telling him my symptoms (which were pretty basic). Turns out I have Celiac disease (I'll save you googling time...it means that I'm allergic to gluten). Now I don't know what to do... do I go back to the guy nobody wants because he's the one that caught this life-changing disease I have?? Or do I go back to my "regular" guy just to ask him, "like, what's wrong man? Why couldn't you catch this thing? The guy that is revisiting his 35-year-old medical school books during my appointment figured it out."
@WalkingwithWendy3 жыл бұрын

Sony MDR-7506 or something very similar. Not noise cancelling and only almost over the ear but oval. (Bose are totally over the ear) They sound amazing though and are very efficient. For music use I'd personally get over the ear and wireless and noise cancelling if possible but obviously it depends on your needs. Podcasting has different considerations.

I do a lot of genealogy for fun (if you guys ever want some done let me know). I stumbled across lots of info my family never knew. My dad & brothers don’t look like my grandfather. I saw a photo of neighbor looked like my dad - started doing some investigating - he turned out to be my dad & brothers bio dad. He was still alive so I visited him - no doubt he was my dad’s dad seeing and hearing him. He eventually confirmed. He & brother has been in WW 2 (brother died in POW camp). Bio-grandfather stayed in military and fought in Korea & VietNam. He married a lady he met in Japan that could not have children. My dad’s mom was obviously dad’s bio mom, but I discovered she’d been adopted (she didn’t know & I never told her - there was shame attached to it long ago). Through investigating I learned her mom was one of 18 kids in Michigan that was knocked up as a teen and sent to convent to have the baby. After delivering my grandmother the nuns adopted her to a Catholic family. Her mother never got to hold her after giving birth. I found quite a bit on her family - criminal contacts in Chicago. Found writings from her and read some of her experiences. (Favorite story was her husband pulling the blanket over her and farting - Dutch Ovens have been around at least 100 years.) Weird to discover a ton of bio family and historical stories. If you ever want to find out about your ancestors let me know.

A good example of athlete twins are the Martin brothers. Identical basketball players both in the NBA and play for the Charlotte bobcats. But have very different styles of play. Interestingly the more successful college player (Caleb) i has had less success than his brother (Cody). Caleb has spent most of his time in the G-League while Cody was drafted in the 2019 NBA draft and plays at the highest level.
