Well, I'm Brandon Bell. I now tell people that I'm the fake name you referred to in the Nateland podcast, and the response is generally "who cares" or "what is nateland". My wife and I only have two nights off together and every week without fail, watching Nateland is a must! As we were watching this week I noticed at the exact moment slugs were brought up, Nate’s face transitioned into no longer caring about the topic at hand and I exclaimed, “Thats it...Nate’s starting to check out”...And within minutes you began to see Nate fidget in his chair and evolve into a lot of disinterested “yeah’s” before finally saying “Alright, I dunno, I think we’re good here...” And to be honest it gets me laughing every week, as I can relate to reacting the same way when I’m kinda done with a conversation or topic. But we appreciate you hanging in for 2 hours and giving us a laugh filled evening. And of course huge shoutouts to both the unsung hero of every episode of Nateland in Bam Bam for holding the whole thing together and the man with the contagious laugh Aaron ‘The Fist’ Weber 🤜🏼🤛🏼

When my friend’s boyfriend moved to Texas from alabama, they contacted an apartment locator to help. She showed them a place and raved about the location: close to work, close to a gym, close to an H‑E‑B (a huge Texas grocery chain). When they asked what an H‑E‑B was, the apartment locator asked where they were moving from. They said “alabama” and she paused and said slower and louder - “have yall ever heard of a Walmart before???” Not sure dusty turned around the national opinion of alabama on this episode, but good work fellas and go dores.

Later that day my coworker asked if I knew who the guy was, and I said no. He laughed and said that was the Vice President of the whole site. First of all, the new special is as close to perfect as I could have hoped. Ninety percent of the jokes hit so close to home. It was the most relatable stand up special I've ever watched. I have hounded 7 family members to watch it and they all loved it! Anyway, here's what I plan to quit, I am going to quit saying "Ahhh I wish I didn't have to go to work." I know that seems obscure, but my son is six and I really feel like I should be teaching him to work, not to hate working. Also, Great to hear Nate on Rogan, I literally stayed up all night listening to it and watching the special. The next day I took a nap and slept through pick up time for my son's school. I woke up to my wife calling me from work to say "Where are you!? The school has called me three times! (I guess they knew to call the wife)

Hello folks! I’m from auburn alabama. Right next to dusty’s home town of opelika. Our rec league also had a weight limit for ball carriers. There was a kid named Tristan Pittman who was by far the best athlete our age, he would dominate every year playing running back. Our last year playing rev all Tristan hit a growth spurt and became even more physically dominant. Unfortunately Tristan was over the weight limit because he was so much taller and stronger than the average kids his age. Instead of dropping weight to carry the ball tristans coach decided to play him at offensive line and run a fumblerooski every play. The quarterback would set the ball on the ground and the right guard, Tristan pitman, would pick the ball up and run for a touch down every single play. Tristan pitman is the single reason that fumblerooskis are now banned from auburn rec league football.

My dad also made the call on whether we would have snow days. I had a sign up sheet for text alerts in high school. I would prep them before going to bed and, if my dad woke me at 4am to tell me it was a snow day, I would send them off and go back to sleep. And yes, there were times he would call it a snow day because of a "wind-chill factor" so we could go up north and snowmobile.

We always did Bull in the Ring at practice in NC, and I’m only 27 now, so this was 2001 all the way up to 2008. In one year I had 2 concussions, got knocked out FROM Bull in the Ring, also one of the concussions was during a game and (I don’t remember this but it’s on video) threw up in my helmet on the sideline.... was back on the field the very next play and finished the entire game. Times have changed A LOT, even from 13 years ago. Safe to say, I ended up playing college baseball in hopes I could keep a (somewhat) functioning brain a little longer. It’s really weird to think back on how differently things worked a few years ago, but I loved every second of it.

Hello folks, Eric from St. Louis here. I’ve been listening from day 1, and I love your show. Good laughs every week and you guys have great chemistry together. You genuinely seem to like each other, and it makes me feel like I’m hanging out with friends. Alabama episode was great, no death threats from me I promise. I just wanted to say two things: 1. I played football in high school and middle school, and my favourite part of practice was if the let us do bull in the ring. I’d volunteer to be the guy in the middle every time if I could. Honestly I only played football so I could hit people and get away with it, so I lived for any contact. The game football isn’t really that much fun to be honest. 2. How has Bates not started a show called “Bates with Breakfast” where he has a morning podcast where he’s solo and just doing his thing? I’d subscribe to that in a second. Either way, that name is gold and you should run with it. God bless you fellas for keeping us entertained during these strange times.

I'm super excited for Nate's new special. I love the idea of using pod convo during your shows, it will make us feel we were part of the creation of it. I watched a 14 yr old Chase Elliott win in Mobile, AL International with a Super Late Model and have been a fan since. In fact, Nate he is racing this weekend in the Bristol Dirt Nationals.

Hello folks! I have two favorite podcasts, this one and The Joe Rogan Experience. I've wanted a Nate episode of JRE for a while now and got super excited yesterday when it finally came out. I listened to it today at work and felt like i was getting inside jokes that Joe didn't even catch, like the "what are your sources?" reference. Just watched Greatest Average American and loved it. Was happy to see you had shoes and got a chance to mention the Silver War. Bravo. Love the podcast! Congrats to Aaron on first runner up on itunes, and congrats to Body wash on more people hearing his nose than his stand up
