Bro your next build put the studs in after you set your heads on your dowels, that way you can’t scratch the surface of the head with the bolts

You really should set the heads onto the deck before installing head studs. That's what the guide pins are for in the block. One little scratch on the deck surface of the heads and you could easily blow a head gasket under boost potentially ruining head and/or block.

I've done a mild rebuild on a 5.0L coyote and there not that difficult to work on. I assume the 5.8L is no different. The hardest this to do is pull the motor and trans especially if you dont access to a lift. Pulling a motor of any kind in your driveway/street sucks major nutsack.
