I've mulled it over lots and am keeping my 3V and sticking with it. Great car, reliable, doesn't have engine tick like the 5.0 and doesn't have transmission problems like the 5.0. Only problem I have is that it is an old car, paint is getting old. Costs more than the car is worth the re-spray the whole thing but oh well.. I'll probably do that one day when the paint goes bad. Never going to let go of this car. I might in the future get another car but I won't be selling this one. 2009 mustang gt only had recalls for both air bags, car is solid.

Still have my 3V I bought new. Supercharged now and always been dead nuts reliable. The retail value is just too low to make them worthwhile to sell. Still a lot of fun, just wish they came with better connecting rods, so I could turn it up a little more without dropping $5K on a built motor.

@@aggieforester05 Yeah I even consider the possibility of getting a 3V 4.6 2009 Ford F150 pickup truck too. I met a guy that had one and he loved it and I remember a bunch of folk wanting one. Yeah if I supercharged it I'd forge all the internals but it looks like it'd cost almost as much as buying a whole another Mustang GT car to do that. Kinda crazy. Like 16 grand for parts alone and plus labor which I don't know how much money labor would be to do that. I have a bunch of appearance mods, mostly Shelby, right now that I am considering whether or not to put on. I'm going to hopefully get started on appearance mods and maintenance soon. This car only has 33,000 miles on it. I heard there's still S197s out there for sale with under 10,000 miles on them for good deals, that is nuts. Such a reliable car for a budget. Crazy.

If you like the sound and decided to do it don't get your hopes up increase the sound on videos but in reality it's not that much unless you are on gas hard all the time and have a conservative exhaust system. On Saleen just gave more work and money wasted will have to buy a new jlt tube and find a plug for the firewall.

This seems janky as hell.Another problem with that kit is drilling that hole below the maf sensor. It could potentially create turbulence and a change in airflow characteristics to the sensor. That kit is bogus man and has very poor locations to drill in both instances. Bad mod and not worth it man.
