I was doing an LC at the time this was filmed- I can been seen during their filming in Arn 4. I had forgotten these faces and knowing some of these women are still incarcerated, albeit in Dayton now, makes me sad. I'll be praying for all the faces I used to see on the daily. Blessed Be

This is crazy living. Its strange while I watched this because I had to keep reminding myself that they are in jail for murder(or doing something equally worse). Very facinating and thank you NG.

They control every second of their lives; they get one day off a year “New Years”. It's Hell on earth, they are not mistreated, they’re given the discipline they were lacking that got them in there.

@coil311 It is the responsibility of the communicator to communicate their meaning effectively. If they are not understood by others, then it is their mistake. But anyway, your failure to yet comprehend the point of my requesting clarification reveals that you are unable to back up your opinions with any sort of solid reasoning.

@coil311 I think you know what i meant by "are you saying" unless you're really uneducated yourself. If the colloquial term "are you saying" really baffles you so much, then let me recant and replace that part with "do i understand your meaning correctly as..." or "does the connotation of your text equate to..." And since i hope by now that you have been able to comprehend what it is that i was communicating with you (maybe?) perhaps you understand how wrong your thinking is?

@MengoMango Derp, as I've explained in the other post. Males have the same freedoms. Personally I think the dorm-style rooms (which are available in male prisons FYI) are much more dangerous then the 1 or 2 person cell.

@coil311 Wait, are you saying that all women are prone to sitting around getting fat as opposed to being physically fit, and their social structures are different from men's so therefore they are uneducated? If that's what you mean, then i think you have a terribly incomplete understanding of the differences between men and women. The differences are not just skin deep...

@coil311 Good job, make a generalized statement about 1 tiny section of a 1 female prison. It's really disturbing if anyone that's potentially dangerous/unstable gets out, the sex of the person is inconsequential. You have male fatasses in prison, you have feminine males that dress/behave like women for other inmate's pleasure, you have gang/family-style environment in male prisons. So what's your point?

For the ppl who say that it was a vacation a place it isn't...YEa it may not be ass strict but our guards were asshole. i dk how many times i had my shut tore up in there by the guards in the middle of the night just because because they could. I did 3 yrs and 2 of them years i did in the hole for fighting. I've seen some good fights in there. BUt we make families men make gangs we make families. just how shit is. i will not say dis is a hardest prison ..but it isn't all laid back

@LeeMIlby I answerd your question with a No. You don't have to lower your level of maturity in reply. "Are you saying..." shows that YOU are having trouble comprehending statements. Notice, it wasn't me asking YOU for clarification. It was vice versa: You asking ME to explain my comment, since you failed to understand it the first time, and are now wasting even more of my time trying to engage in debate with an imaginary viewpoint of someone else.

@Android780 "I learn more from youtube than anywhere else." That's not something of which to be proud, my fellow human. The fact that most of your information is sourced from television says a lot about, without you probably realizing it. Try reading some books, they're far more valuable sources of information, and do not revolve around profit margins of corporate television entities.
