Speaking of Europe which is actually a huge livable Continent with 45 nations. Russia alone is a ginormous nation which occupies nearly half of Europe with a relatively small population. Nearly half of mainland Asia, from Siberia to Far-East Asia also is inside Russia. By the way, the "land grab" is more of the same in Asia-Pacific region where European Colonizers such as Britain and Russia have already Colonized half of Asia, stretching from Australia/New Zealand, to Siberia/Far-East, all in Asia-Pacific region. Russia occupied vast resource rich Siberia to Far East ever since 17th & 18th century, while Anglo British, sailing halfway around the world from jolly old England, took over giant resourceful landmass of Australia & New Zealand in 18th & 19th century; all in Asia-Pacific, while Native people of Asia-Pacific region are left with and quarreling over a few tiny islands in South China Sea while Anglo Australia/New Zealand have already claimed big chunks of nearby Antarctica.

Having the generator outside, makes you vulnerable, because anyone that wants to do you harm, can reach it and control your living situation. Better is to have a backup system that can be stored inside with power reserve (solar power station) that kicks in when the generator stops. The fact that you need to leave your bunker to fill up makes the whole family a target.
@jessebattles3955 Жыл бұрын

There is a problem with that, though. I know of an entire family here in Australia who died due to a generator running in their basement (which we call a 'cellar' in Australia). Carbon monoxide poisoning. All issues with relying on electricity too much has its drawbacks. In a true shtf situation, I think it's dangerous to assume you are going to live life with the luxuries we currently have. The old fashioned, pre electric ways are of great benefit to learn.

But, in previous episodes, several participants had lost points for security in that they were highly or overly prepared but had neighbors who were not. These peppers were encouraged to teach their neighbors to be just as prepared or to be more prepared so that when tshtf, the neighbors will not come raiding and looting. Following advice, the previous preppers started facilitating classes, seminars, and workshops for neighbors and other community members to attend. I hope. I have 2 brothers who think I'm crazy for prepping, they are halfway across the country.

Probably not. Some of them are probably still suckling the teet of government, depending on them for safety, like they did during the plandemic.

Except it happened and the people who didn’t prep or prep had the same experience.

I am specifically laughing at the chick who thought getting goats was more practical for clothing than sheep and who thought we might actually run out if clothes considering how many billions of clothes are thrown out each year here 😂

I believe people are beginning to see the reality of our current situation. Yes, there are always threats in the world, but nothing like the combination we are seeing now. Unfortunately, too little too late applies to most of the population.

I'm watching this as we're coming up on 48 hours with no electricity after a storm on March 3, 2023 in Louisville, Kentucky. That's just one of the reasons I'm a prepper. I have food, water, obviously electrical power, medicine, and protection. Many people have next to nothing. I couldn't live that way......literally.

How did a house fire translate to prepping for a terrorist attack? 😂
@julianparks84857 ай бұрын
Yes, prepping for your family is fine, but much better if your neighbors, friends, and you prep together. There is strength in numbers.

This show needs to be brought back because the world is so close to an actual World War 3.
@michaeld8980 Жыл бұрын
Actually, we are ALREADY in WWIII. Most people don't realize it though because this fact is intentionally hidden by the media and the politicians to avoid mass panic. If you take a step back and look at the larger picture with the alliances forming, "mysterious" infrastructure fires, substation attacks, increasing train derailments, it becomes crystal clear the gears are well in motion.

" I don't believe there is a limit to what I would do to protect my family, and would have to pray for anybody that didn't have the good judgement to realize that ahead of time". I like the old feller alot. And I respect him to the fullest.. the mad had a conviction about the safety of his family, and acted on it and took it to the fullest extent of his capabilities...

That generator would be a beacon to anyone in the area and that whole family would be in a contained area already and easy to isolate

Love how they always show the worst kind of preppers 😄 - Completely obsessed and lost contact with reality - Way too specific with what they prepare for - A lot of lack of common sense - Ruin it for everybody involved because they are too pushy, for example with their kids - Tell the world about their secret preps on a TV show

Most people are normal people. TV just edits it so that can get a reaction. Remember tv is an illusion and can change or funnel your preception. Peoples personality are real and many people have layers. Show has to show you something g they are selling for entertainment factor. I wouldn't cheat people are understanding yo enjoy everyday life too.

I dont live near a large city , most of the people will not survive after three weeks without food , so don't tell anyone what your doing or what you have , blend in do not stand out , this is no joke with what's going on in the world today , you can survive without electricity, it won't be convenient but you can do it if you know how to survive, after six years in the military I have a very good understanding of what I need to do to survive!

With what happened to Texas power grid a few winters ago. He was right to do it what he did! And then the attack on the power grid on the east coast I believe it was North Carolina not too long ago. It just strengthens the need to make sure that you can take care of yourself!
@OldesouthFarm Жыл бұрын
The door opening to the outside is a problem. Should have one opening to the inside so you don’t get trapped by stuff flying around with a tornado or bomb.

Shipping containers are not designed to take the weight of the surrounding or topping dirt. Looks like one wall is already buckling.

What good is a bunker if you have to go outside all the time to refill the generator. It would make more sense to stay on the surface so you could see people coming onto the property
@vikingored7469 Жыл бұрын
That's right,,, Behing under its tactically a disadvantage you could get smoked out or even buried/trap under there. Being above ground gives you the options of easier escape and evade if your position gets located/compromised.

Papa did an amazing job getting his family situated for bad times . I suggest is to get 4 in foam for the beds so people will b more comfortable so bodies won't hurt while sleeping so they r better to get things done . Other then that did great :) n maybe later on add sum sort or bath or shower system as well in case it is a longer term. Wish we had the space n money to do this for our big family.
