I remember being so proud of the lines “Blessings have all shapes and sizes - Even pain has silver linings” when I first wrote this song. Then, while working on the recording, my life fell apart real quick. Those lyrics were the last thing I wanted to hear. As the trials seem to be coming to an end, my level of gratitude for even the smallest things has grown so much. The little miracles of everyday life. The fact that me and my wife are healthy. That I have a wonderful family and wonderful friends. That I can create music everyday and have literally the kindest audience I could’ve ever imagined. It’s more than I could’ve dreamed of. I guess a little pain can wake you up every once and awhile. Love you all so much.

Sent the lyrics right to my core, that's what you did! Where do you even get these from, man? Seriously, your songs are QUOTE-able!! It's insane, every time you release a new song I find something unique and awesome within the lyrics, breath-taking creativity, no lie in that. I find myself with difficulty in what to say about it, to be honest. I love the song, it got me emotional not from relatability but simply like... The pure beauty of the craft, you know? I've been enjoying all of the remakes and covers but while I was listening I remembered how awesome it is to hear something new from you! One of my first thoughts was that this song feels like a cool mix of 1,000 Lifetimes and Dance All Night with a dash of Worthwhile. Somehow your songs always have the best bridges! I love the lyrics. "Even pain has silver linings" is a phrase I've personally come to live by. It also reminds me of something I read once that mentioned how every struggle is a new chance to glorify God, which helps me a lot when I keep it in mind. 🙂
