Saw Manson live for the 3rd time 2 weeks ago. Was on his game, sounded amazing, and genuinely looked happy to be on stage. Also interacted positively with the crowd.

This is a such throwback for me. He sounds just as good as he did on Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood. He went back to his roots. W Marilyn

“My red flag is your white one soaked in blood” 🔥
@JMulvy4 ай бұрын
"it's time to beat up the bullies and wash the bullseye from my back, my red flag is your white one soaked in blood." - This is his warning to all the people who turned against him with the allegations from ERW. After the allegations and the TWO FBI investigations, they came back with nothing, rather than going to trial ERW decided to settle outside of court for an undisclosed amount of money. (she IS Amber Herd's best friend so go figure..) However, he is not done. He went away for a while and his lovely wife Lindsay helped him heal and recover from everything. Now he is back and his own lawsuits that he is bringing against ERW and people who terminated his contracts start up in November. Side note: ERW could be facing federal charges for impersonating a federal agent, because she sent him a fake "official" FBI letter to intimidate him and garner more witnesses against him. So it should be interesting. I actually read the rumor about his rib in a friggin newspaper article! They actually published it like it was newsworthy and I remember my Dad coming up to me and asking if it was true. However we did have the internet it was mostly single page websites, search engines, message boards and chat rooms and that is where I found out about a ton of bands I now listen to. I used to go to yahoo and just constantly search for stuff on Manson, so we did have the internet.

As a lifelong Manson fan this new stuff is some of the best stuff he's ever done. I'm biased of course, but this new song could be taken straight from Golden Age of Grotesque. There's another song called Front Toward Enemy (only released on physical CD single - not digital yet) and its so heavy and raw it could be put on Antichrist Superstar back in 1996.

Reactions are best served in an unbiased opinion, because look how easily the guy on the right was influenced by the left.

I remember hearing manson for the 1st time, I was about 14/15yrs old and instantly being in love with everything that they were back then. I think HolyWood was released not long after and I remember going round all the record stores trying to get antichrist and Mechanical animals. To this day Mechanical animals is still one of my top 5 albums of all time, 25 or so years later. I don't know a whole lot about what the recent controversy was. It's manson, he's always been controversial and had all sorts of accusations surrounding him. So anything new after a few years you tend not to notice all that much. Especially when, to be fair, he wasn't exactly making good music in between all that. I am genuinely quite excited to see what he does next :)

@shikarifox43374 ай бұрын
@@Ikgeloofhetniet I've only heard a mono version of FTE so will wait until my CD arrives to listen to it properly but Secrets is my favourite overall, I think the effects on the Flag vocals takes some points away since would sound nicer without them, I think if the Flag instrumental had the vocal style of Secrets it would be top level Manson for me, it's a very warm welcome back for him :D
