That's actually quite interesting. My interpretation of the song was that it was about suicide or suicidal thoughts due to how absolutely hopeless our society is, but its actual meaning also makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. And I wasn't really that far off either, I guess.

They played this when they did the live stream at Royal Albert Hall a couple months back and let me tell you- this song is made to be played live. As good as the studio version is, the live version is just something else. I remember Sam was worried this song wouldn’t get a great reception and he was so shocked/appreciative when it literally blew up all over Twitter during the stream because everyone who watched just loved it straight away 🥺 on the ball with the reaction too- good work guys!

I agree with the both of you. People that are complaining are just miserable and stuck in the past and can't move on. This album is going to be a musical masterpiece. With features like Winston McCall and Mike Kerr. In my opinion, what these last three tracks have shown us, this album is going to have a bit of everything and I can't wait for February 26 to come any sooner :DD

Best songs: Animals, Black Lungs, Libertine (one of my favorites 🔥🔥), Impermanence (ft. Winston McCall), Little Wonder (ft. Mike Kerr - also one of my favorites 🔥🔥), Goliath (ft. Simon Neil), and Demi God (love the egyptian vibe). Easily one of the best albums of 2021, and the year barely started. No words to express how much this band has evolved since the early days.

Just got discharged from the ICU from my second bout of septic shock in four months and HATING how I look so different from what I used to. Muscle tone- gone. Anything that comes with a wall of sound (eg, Devin Townsend) is awesome and powerful. Last year sucked because of covid and having to move house a number of times, so finding new music wasn't on the cards. I didn't know who Architects was until Animals was released, followed by Spiritbox and Orbit Culture (Mute the Silent release). If you can, listen to North Star of Nija (thumping verses and great choruses)

Definitely 1/10 in terms of reactions. Like everyone I hear that good bye and fly high. It’s magic. The reactions are weak. The adjusting the camera for filler was weak.
