I have been growing my hair out for around 2 years now just thought I would share a few tips, tying your hair in a bun when its wet like that's doesn't do your hair or scalp any favours it will eventually cause dandruff. I recommend TRESemme perfectly (un)done sea foam. it is technically for wave creating and your supposed to use a curling iron (unless you have naturally wavy hair) but I just apply to damp hair after shower then scrunch in and blow dry. It gives the same wet look with good texturing and takes care of any breakages and shorter wispy bits, it also feels like it makes your hair a lot stronger as it is quite thick, perfect for thin hair.

I just hit 2 years on December 30th. That first year is tough, lots of hats n beanies. Mousse saved my life haha. Once you hit about 15-18 months your golden. Eye on the prize man.

keep goin, you start caring less and there are times of better looking hair than others while growing it. It's been probably about 8 months for me, getting close to being able to tie it all in a low bun

Please man, keep the man bun videos going. I just recently left the ugly phase lol I’m so happy . The reason I do man bun is because I bboy, which is a dance that involves moves on your head lol. I don’t do them anymore but when I did it faded my hair on top and I always had good hair until then. I’ve finally grown it out to a nice bun I can tie higher up. Anyway thanks for the vids. Looks great but you didn’t address the lump of hair on the back of your head that sticks out slightly. That happens to me if I don’t take care to push that hair up into the hand before tying off. Otherwise you have a great look and the bun looks amazing.

When you have curly hair like me its much more hard, wake up and you have a frizzy mess of hair then your hair is also weak and gets tangled up much more and breaks so you end up with tons of fly away little hairs on top when you do a manbun
