I love the fact that there is a boss fight and jumping hazards. This game tests not only your racing abilities, but also your cognitive reflexes. And so many awesome tracks! This is hands-down one of the best Mario Kart games to date, minus the fact that you need a Mario Kart card to unlock the full experience. Where do you even get those things?!

Kind of. The hardware used for Arcade GP, Arcade GP 2, and F-Zero AX is very similar to that of the Gamecube, so it’s possible to play those games on a Gamecube (and by extension, Wii and Wii U).

I was finally able to play the Mario kart arcade for the first time as it is in Scandia which is in the neighboring town of my hometown. It was very nice of them to add the Mario kart arcade there and my first time ever playing it was with my wife. Also I believe it was the newest Mario kart arcade called Mario kart arcade DX or something. They used to have the f-zero ax arcade there too which is like f-zero GX but arcade.
