Yup i replaced vanos now I am getting MAF codes. When ever i think i have the car up to snuff something breaks. But when it runs good it slays the road with ease. Though I am starting to think a porsche is much cheaper long term everything factored in.

rowen898 I’ve also dealt with the same exact issue turns out it was a vacuum leak....but no car drives or feels like a bmw literally perfection but when it comes to foreign reliability me personally Mercedes wins and they most worst car is an Audi

When you marked that module "L" for left i was wondering why. I always thought that is seen as the right side. Always viewed from inside the car. Not being a ass just wondering. Love your videos and look forward to many more could you do one on a aux fan that won't run on a e70 lol I'm 90 percent sure its the DME just got to learn to use this scope to measure the pulse sent from the DME to the fan. Thanks man because of your videos I've actually learned and don't have as much "fear" or tackling a job on it. I love my bmws but man they can be stresfull at times hahaha now go cool down and have a cold beer. Thanks again. Love your work

I got an abs light on today on my m5 e60 while accelerating on a highway ramp, i think im screwed ill try my carly adapter to read and clear some codes, but i hope is not the abs pump or module, i heard the wheel speed sensor can do that too, I need to get the ISTA i just dont understand where to buy it and all the process, if any body knows pls explain

520d is euro spec, never made available in the USA. The backward EPA in the usa doesn't allow these models here.

@aleX diesel isn't illegal, however the EPA has made it near impossible to have a good range of diesels available. BMW has entirely abandoned diesels in the USA. As far as I know, Jeep maybe reintroducing its 6 cylinder diesel in the grand Cherokee, and Mercedes still sells a small range. But that's it. The EPA have ruined diesels reputation as they are in bed with big oil.

did you have any cel? i have a m6 that is hesitating to start. i have changed the spark plugs, and checked all the coils. fresh fuel. but still hesitating to start.

So Nathan, my car runs rough as well. It has all the power in the world though, but when you open te doors you can see even the doors vibrate. I replaced the flywheel so i don’t think it is the flywheel. Vanos pressure is great, replaced all the coils with BREMI, new injectors etc. No idea where to go next. You can also feel the vibration in the seat when the car is in neutral. Any idea where I should look for next?

Hey Nathan, wanted to share my experience with BMW Doctor Dean with you see if you have any input. Few months ago I bought one of the tuned ecu’s he was advertising on his channel, 2 months go by and nothing comes in the mail, and i try to get a hold of him and he blocks me on everything i had contact with him through. The whole time he kept saying fedex is sending it but corona is slowing it down which i get, but it’s been 4 months and i haven’t heard from dean in two months. He obviously scammed me.

All this is regular service items, this isn’t a F150, it’s a performance car, budget for these item (coils, plugs, ionic modules, throttle motors, vanos seals/hoses, smog pump and clutch, bearings etc) change them at around 80k miles and have another 80k miles of fairly problem free motoring. It would be the same for any performance car... anyone buying one of these and think you can get away with golf diesel like miles and costs and service/general neglect and bodging and have an enjoyable experience is mistaken... it’s the same for any Merc, GM, Ford product.... idiot owners, poor garages etc will bite you every time. Remember this car will do 200mph derestricted (electronic speed restriction, not tuning) and is as quick as a Ferrari 360 and is now ~15 years old
