Georgia fan here. Once Carson Beck went down, we were definitely the underdog in that match against Notre Dame. As for Ohio State, I think the Michigan loss woke up them up. Nothing is guaranteed, but the Buckeyes are on a war path. Let's see what happens.

I consider the loss to TTUN was a gift to a failing embarrassed Conference Mate and good for the BIG 10... plus Vegas prolly couldn't cover the bets if favorite Ohio State had won... and OSU didn't need that win to win the Natty... plus, the way OSU destroyed Oregon shows OSU was doing some sandbagging most of the season... Day knew he had a powerhouse team, if needed... could have run the score into the 70s in most games, if wanted to embarrass the other teams...

For the "Fighting Irish" to win they must come out and play smash mouth football from the kickoff.....to go sleepwalking through the first half will end in defeat. The offensive line will have to assert its will and execute as will LR....who must connect with his wide receivers by throwing to them above their knees. If Notre Dame can take away the running game from Ohio State and make them one demensional they can potentially win. The object will be to stay focused and execute at a hogh level....absent this Ohio State wins; however unlike the masses I believe this game will be a lower scoring game.

I think this will be a win one for the Gipper type of game! The Irish should have beaten Ohio State last year. The Buckeyes were lucky to get out of South Bend with a win. Only 2 of OSU's starters are transfers. Most are juniors and seniors recruited there. They spend less NIL than Texas did. The media basically decided OSU would be the team they talk about when it comes to NIL and just kept running with it. There are at least 10 programs with an NIL budget of 12 million or more.
