Front wheel drive is better in snow because the weight of the engine over the front wheels improves traction. He said there’s a lot of sap in here and then cuts to the scene where everything is sticking to his hands because sap is sticky. Eddie’s wife is actually Ellens cousin.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this! This is a yearly classic in my house. My dad absolutely loves this movie and National Lampoon's Vacation. Over the years, I have been trying to build up a little collection for dad, this year I brought him the Hallmark ornament of the station wagon with the tree on it. A couple years ago, he needed an ugly sweater for work and I brought him a light up sweater of the house. He was so excited!! Great reaction!!

Too funny! This is one of my husband’s absolute favorite movies, and all of our favorite christmas movie, so i started buying him little christmas items from the movie a few years ago. Last year it was eddie’s rv, the year before it was the moose head punch glasses, lol. The first item i got him was a christmas card of their house, all the lights on it light up and it plays music when you press a button on it, he still has it.

Classic Christmas movie. It's been a tradition in our family for decades! The moose mugs they use to drink the eggnog are from the first movie, a souvenir from Wally World. The other in the series are definitely worth a watch (except maybe Eddie's xmas movie). Randy Quaid played Eddie so well, it's hard to imagine him as anything else.

1. For extra chaos just add Eddie. 🤣 2. GOOF: The lights outside the attic window don't match the pattern with the rest of the house. 3. My favorite part is when Ellen pulls the chain on the trap door. 🤣🤣 4. Mae Questel played Aunt Bethany. She was the original Betty Boop and Olive Oyl, This was her last gig. 5. In the big rant scene the other actors had Chevy's lines written on placards so he wouldn't get his lines out of order. 6. Living next door to them must be kind of like living next door to the Bundys. 7. Fun fact; Chase actually hurt his hand karate chopping the reindeer. 8. Clark's boss is Brian-Doyle-Murphy (Bill Murry's brother) calls him greaseball when he drops off his gift. Then he doesn't get his name right until the very end. 9. Ellen is played by Beverly DeAngelo. She also played in "Every Which way but Loose" with Clint Eastwood and in "Hair". EWWBL would be a great first time share but "Hair" would give you copywrite issues. Finally, she has a couple of kids with Al Pacino. I like her better than the sales girl.😍😋🥰 10. This IS my Christmas movie every year 11. Fun fact: This is the only Vacation where Audrey is older than Rusty. 12. My picks in order: Christmas, Vacation, European and finally Last Wage NOTE: The "front wheel sleigh" is better for snow. It's heaver and gets more traction.

Chevy Chase, both comedian & actor was known for his pratfalls & they're always expected, his pratfalls on SNL (Sat Night Live) elevated him to a whole new level. (King of Physical Comedy) & The entire department store scene was ad-libbed by Chevy. As was as his screaming rant. The stereo is B&O or Bang & Olufsen unit, very high end & pricy. 30 year old Bang & Olufsen units from the 1980's are still $1,000.

Its crazy to see what has become of Randy Quaid in RL. Hes gone a little crazy. Hes become a survivalist who is super paranoid about the government and lives off grid out in the woods somewhere. Hes gotten into quite a bit of legal problems due to multiple arrests. I cant recall specifics but its a crazy rabbit hole to go down.

Welcome to National Lampoon's!!! One to watch is the prequel to this "National Lampoon's Vacation" there is also the European Vacation and as for National Lampoon there is currently 65 movies, with a 66th one announced for next year. Starting in 1973!!! "National Lampoons Loaded Weapon" is a good one, but make sure you've seen "Lethal Weapon" and "Lethal Weapon 2" first

I think every year I get more "Clark". I do like to light up the house. I realised something when you commented on the price of power for lights. I'm in New Zealand and its summer here, so it's not until about 9 o'clock until you can see the lights. On the upside, my entire house (externally) is lighten up with solar. (Something thats probably not possible in the Winter).

There are some Christmas tree lots that are set up as “cut your own” where you go out, find the tree you want, and cut it down. They’ll still come and drag it to the check out for you but you get the pleasure of cutting it yourself

Ive thought about him sitting on the attic door and I actually could see this happening, especially after braking through the ceiling once already. Basically the only place to safely sit for an extended period of time comfortably would be the wooden framing around the drop door. Otherwise you would have to balance on the trusses.

Xmas movies come in a lot of varieties. This one is sort of a dark comedy xmas movie right up there with Scrooged and The Ref. Others are just family movies that play out like a soap opera. Some even try to do an origin story though if you want the best one I suggest Santa Claus the movie 1985. Then there is just the straight up dark xmas movies like Krampus.
